Of course it'll rev higher then the 5.4 it doesn't have a stroke over 100mm lol. I'm hoping they revive the XR8 with an NA version as it will be far cheaper to insure then something with an FPV badge.

I just see that alot of the Supercharged V8's need more $$$ thrown at them to get the same KW as people are getting from the 6T's.

Maybe its different with this engine I dunno but only time will tell.

Hope im wrong as the car in the video sounds like an aural orgasm. :buttrock:

In the past people had to spend 10-15K to get a decent supercharger mounted on their V8 and then power levels could match or even exceed the T's power levels, they do not need to spend this money any more, although I think the V8 intercooler will cost more than a T's cooler due to being air to water rather than air to air.

Time will tell how they perform and for what sort of dollars.

The stupid grin on Courtney's face says it all. To see a professional driver having a little giggle at the awesomeness is quite a statement. :buttrock:

Now where's that Dilly bloke? Must be warming up his humble pie?

Having said that I think the GS might be the real hero here, way cheaper and only slightly less power then a GT which can be fixed with a tune by the looks of it.

GS the next cult car dontknow.gif
