yeah dude it's all good. We got a atomic chromemoly one that is sh!tloads thicker so we fixed it good & proper. I'll message ya when im up there if ya want to come in & have a looksie, hopefully it'll still be on the dyno so I can see it at full tilt. Will have abit of fun juice left in the tank on friday night so should add abit more fun for the drive. lol

Bloke make sure you get ARP flexplate bolts as well for the stock ones are made of sh*t metal!

Torque the ARP flexplate bolts to 80ft/lb with some 242 loctite applied sparingly.

Ive run a Nizpro laminated flexplate installed as above for the last 3 yrs with no issues

all soughted they will be fitted with bolts supplied by atomic as for the actual fitting the boys know what there doin so im sure it'll be cool

Your absolutley right & I agree but as they say sh!t happens & they/me learnt something out of it so it's cool. In the grand scheme of things all we lost was abit of time but hopefully they can get it together & I can enjoy it this weekend finally. WIll give them a yell later today just to make sure everythings going to plan

new flexplate is on, g/box in & its on the dyno. there tiding up the street tune & then on to something a little bigger. Cant wait for tomorrow night. I wish it would cool down abit plus the humidity is through the roof but what can ya do. Will be nice to get it home & finish the sound system & have it how I want again.

The car finally lived up to its potential today with 470rwkw on 98 & then 535rwkw with about a 15 -20% mix of toulene in with a tank of 98. It was over 35deg in cairns today so with a good fuel mix & a cooler day who knows. Cant wait to drive this thing now. I was blown away when they told me what it made I had no expectations of that with such a dilute mix. They said by 4500rpm it was already up to 480rwkw so its making power early & hard.

To say im excited doesnt descride it. Theres plenty left in it by what they were telling me. They wanted race fuel up there but it still has only about 1500klm on it & I need it to drive to brissy next week so we'll keep the real fun for the new year. What a christmas present.
