I got a v3 kit in mine and a generic... havent had a problem with it and I've been driving it like that for over a year...

that is good news man, I'm still scared and will detune it but, ive heard lots of people sayin things will break but noone has said its happened to them or got any examples.

but ill still play it safe

lol, great tip! Also helps for improving fuel consumption figures, tried and tested. Make sure you don't mistake the left pedal for the right though :wub:

Another mate of mine also 1 of my cousins both had there cooler on boosted to 10 pounds also, have been running it like that for about over 6months now. They do give it the little squirt here and there. They only get driven probably once a week and that's about it. But I know what u mean bout having it just sit in your room and wont be able to bear it, just take it easy and play it safe, cos the last thing you wanna do is :howbig:

I fitted my V2 D&D kit and threw it on a dyno, the AFRs were in the 14s from idle through to redline.

But I also drove around witrh it fitted for 2 months and my motor didnt go bang

I never send one out over 12.5 on boost and 13s on the stepup,safe but still fun.

food for thought for all those contemplating generics and possibly getting a dyno run to check air fuel ratios, Incorrect air fuel ratio is not the biggest enemy, incorrect spark advance is the killer.
