hi guys

im going to install a Rapid V3 kit this weekend, trouble is im not getting it tuned for about 2 months. this weekend is really the only time I can do it between now and then.

so I Know this has been done to death but noone seems to have horror stories of motors going bang. so ithought I'd go ahead and do it.

I'll detune the car back to factory ( its on a generic tune at the mo ) and drive like a nana untill it gets custom tuned (with squirters And Pump Too).

my questions are

is this all correct?

how hard can I push it, with the V3 and factory Tune?

and has anyone had, or heard of motors going pop doing anything like this?

and lastly would it be crazy to leave the generic 10psi tune on with the cooler?

if anyones got anything on any of these Q's I'd love to hear it

do you mean leave the cooler off alltogether? or leave it off the generic tune

Pretty much both.. No need for the cooler because it will spike and you wont be able to use the extra power safely.. and the generics are apparently crapola

do your cooler and put the factory tune in and just dont flog the crap out of it

It will be fine with factory tune and v3 on it just baby it everywhere. But I can guarantee you will wanna push it just to hear that little bit louder flutter and overtake that vy ss infront of you. As I said it should be fine but remember sh*t does happen
