that's because it was after all those magazines that I went in it, and at that stage, the silver one was testing parts for the blue ute that was running a big diff and 10" slicks (their drag car).

Oh.

Thanks.

There was a fair bit of debate about that plenum on this forum (as you'd expect).

The 307kph run was with phase 3 components only (I.e no plenum), and T5 manual, 3.23 diff and lowered springs.

That speed would be easily achieved by some of our cars these days, but in January 2004 it was an excellent achievement.

I could be wrong, but I think Con & Vic's old Blood Orange XR6 Turbo might have worn one of these when it was running 10's back in the day's.

It had an A.P.S Phase III kit on board then, and this might have been on board also.

Yes, but not when it ran the 10.98 pass.

It was put on that C&V car for an Autospeed article teaser in December 2003, with a dyno graph showing 384rwkw, and 22lb boost tapering down to 18lb.

The phase 4 with plenum and 12 injectors had been planned for mid 2004 launch.

There was a black ute with a turbo 400 box that was wearing one of the very few APS plenums that C&V tuned some time back. Not sure whatever happened to that car.
