Anyone had a go at Far Cry II yet?

Been playing story mode a bit over the last week or so (PC). There's a reason why I haven't played online yet too

It's cool but gets a little sameish after a while.

Drive here, kill this guy, drive here, kill these guys, etc.

And the targets are so damn far away from each other.

It could just be because I'm not that far into it yet.

Other than that, I'm completely addicted to Forza Motorsport 2 on 360 and have been all year

Nothin' like buying a C or B class car and spending 100k on turning it into an Ultra class animal. Also been trying out a few drift setups in different cars, with mixed results

I'm also pretty leet at CoD4 (PC... the ONLY way to play an FPS imo).

My GF's brother just setup a server/teamspeak so we're gunna do some casual clan play over the holidays.

Good to see there's a few other poindexters out there

COD4, COD WAW, Resistance 2.

COD WAW is great fun in CO-OP online mode, not so great split screen as it uses like a quarter of the screen on each side!

tried for about an hour to get it to hook up but nope didn't work. all I get is this number "80130182" and it saying internet connection problem blah blah. btw, anyone know what it means and how to fix it??? PLEASE

Mate - havent got a PS3 however this sounds like a network issue... obviously!!! (your prob thinking - no sh*t!)

But - r u running your connection (ADSL im assuming) via a router or directly from the modem to the PS3?

Its 'sounds' like it could be a setting issue in the router settings... Ie- firewall, or DMZ/Port settings...

Let me know how you have this setup and see if I can help u trouble shoot it!

Lots of CS nerds in here which is good to see! We setup a dedicated 1.6 server here at work and us IT nerds play against each other instead of doing work! Got some crazy bots in there which helps if I ever go online to play - bit more like humans but they still have their retarded bot moments.... I play a bit of Source every now and again.

It’s all about "pool day" and the para! Carnage galore!! Or the Bullpup for any other level.

Except for the fact that you do a mission that goes for 20 minutes, 19 of which you spend driving to kill the guy...

Very nice list Zap, What is Left4Dead like? I was thinking about getting it. I'm huge on BF2, BF2142(When it first came out, got old pretty quick with all the glitches in the titan), COD4 was too easy to get to lvl50 (Not to mention the client-side storage of profiles to edit your stats!)
