Ya don't want to be driving at night and hitting something but worse still is the chain reaction if cars are too close behind you on the roads Generally for night cruises - I prefer sticking to well lit town roads or if it's rural - lot of traffic on the roads - just to minimise the chance of encountering wildlife Also, for a trip out to Jenolan, I think a daylight is better from a scenic point of view. Where I'm coming from is that I drove Putty Rd in the dark (not of my on volution - just turned out that way cos of work committments) and I could tell it was a good road but I reckon it would have been more visually scenic had I done it during daylight 1
