I've formed a pretty specific opinion about the new FG utes and want to know wat everyone elses thoughts on them are?

Personally I think they look pretty average. I think the tub and cab look too separate like a 'frankenstein' of cars. To me The flowing shape of the front end needs to be continued through to the rear end and the seperate piecing of the cab and tub sell this one short for me

Remember this is just an opinion, all I want is other peoples opinions and no useless criticism.

Cheers Butto

I like the look of them, but a nice set of wide rear wheels would do well to fill out the tub

I have only seen the ad, so I am yet to fully make up my mind. From what I have seen I do like them but like all FG viewed from certain angles they can look a bit bland.

The separate tub is here to stay and I agree with it, it allows many more variants and as these are built for work and not to be a show pony like the commo ute.

How the hell does that work...

The little forward swish they stuck in the tub makes them look gay....IMHO.

The only thing I'm not a fan of is the antenna in the middle of the roof; got that barina look going on

Otherwise I like....they have a good stance on them

Think they look better than the sedan. FG looks horrible on the road. Compared to a BA-BF that is.

Oh I completely agree on the seperate tub in means of practicality, I just dont like the look of all these nice flowing angles stopped completely dead by a gap between the 2 ends.

One thing I can say is thank god they didnt try a flowing shape and separate tub and end up makin a huge mistake like in the Tritons

And sorry couldnt quite decide whether to put this in Uteopia or FG forum

to be honest ... I don't like the ba / bf utes from some angles... I suspect this is because I have spent maybe to many hours looking at mine lol I'd say the fg will grow on you
