Aren't they usually chained to a pole or something? they are over here in WA now

Reminds me, someone went to all the trouble of shooting at a fixed one here in Sydney and then set it on fire, but the lens and casing resisted both as the manufacturer already considered these possibilities.

The best way to destroy a fixed speed camera is a old tyre, throw it over the camera unit, fill with petrol and light.

Apparenlty it will melt all the cables inside the pole. The cameras are hardened against fire and attack.

Did you laugh much?

PS: Love the sig....have it pinned on the board behind my desk :icon_ford:

That was one of my poorer-taste posts. I feel ashamed, as it's not funny. Not funny at all. :icon_ford:

Cheers on the sig. I'm a firm believer of not dwelling on trivial things. We live in a very whiny society and we're doing super compared to most of the world. Relax and enjoy your time in this world, rather than complain that it's no chop. Get on board.

There is a speed camera on one of the main access roads between ACT and Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra road I think its called, there is a fixed camera on that road, it was getting attacked so much, they now have a video camera installed to monitor it!

So a camera watching a camera.......

I am not condoning this attack, but I must admit that I hate speed cameras with a passion. Especially when I found out that Q.L.D speed cameras in Q.L.D

are operated by police doing OVERTIME........

NOW THAT JUST RUBS SALT INTO THE WOUNDS.....

Probably the only way to get them to sit there for hours on end is to offer them some overtime money. The camera does all the work and they just sit there in case.

LMAO! As long as there not injured I could care less what happens to them. Police are "just doing there Job" when they catch you speeding, these wankers are making profit from it.
