Anybody on here own a Ford everest?

Selling the G6ET pretty soon for something bigger and the everest ticks a few of my boxes incl 7 seats, off road capability, good on-road handling (for a 2.5T box) from all reviews I've read, and decently specc'd apart from no leather until top model titanium.

Main con for me is that in some ways it's a glorified ranger. Nothing wrong with them, my brother has one and it's a bloody good work ute but from what I've seen a lot of trim & plastics get carried over.

And now I think I've fallen a bit in love with the idea of a Jeep SRT - look horn, go hard - so I'm trying to sort my priorities out.

5 seats only is a minus but could live with that.

Budget is 70-75K, not keen on anything korean or older than 2 years or over 20K on the clock.

Don't really want a Prado or cruiser, considered a (used) lexus rx450 but hasn't excited me yet, newish disco is north of budget, any other suggestions?

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Everest mate. I'd drop my Prado for one in a heartbeat. I would try and stretch it to the titanium. I think I seen a comparison of the Everest and the disco.

WTF! couldn't picture you with a Late model camira but we all did silly things when we were younger.

Only ever owned bombadores mate. Mostly VL's but I've had one of every series except for the vt onwards. Never was a brand snob though. Always wanted to go for a falcon but it was the fear of the unknown.

Before the bf I was going to get another vl but I couldn't justify the price for what is essentially a death trap that people want to steal.

The bf ticks all the boxes for what I need plus it's fast.
