I think it was 3 things;

Some servos putting more than 15% ethanol in.

Some older cars definitely didn't like it(o rings, seals etc)

And the petroleum company's were happy to let a lot of bullsh!t propergate!

I reckon it's third mainly and a lot of miss information

Like only cars that used e10 had blocked injectors. Or all I saw was broken down cars that ran e10.

Same as the things get crazy on a full moon.

It's observational bias

I've never had a car running E10 have a blocked injector.

I've had the opposite a lot which is one of the reasons I'm a E10 fan.

What really sh!ts me though is when mates who don't have the faintest idea of how an engine works give me a lecture on the evils of ethanol.

I ride enduro bikes and do all my own maint including engine rebuilds and ride with guys who can't even change a spark plug, oh but they know everything about what fuel I should use.

Absolutely SH!TS ME TOO TEARS!!!

We'll that was a bit of a rant.

I have an uncle who is exactly the same

No idea about the engines but e10 will kill his car. It's just ridiculous.

Ethanol Is just far superior to Dino juice
