I think the problem with the bikie laws is that to everyone but a motorcyclist it seems like a great idea, much like hoon laws are a no-brainer to the general population even though it encapsulates innocent enthusiasts too. Populist politics that's focused on getting the right headlines in the media sucks arse, and I can't see it getting any better any time soon. /rant.
