Could someone please tell me what size the speakers are in an fg xrt UTE please (standard stereo system)!!!

can you give me the sizes of the front spilts and the rear speakers whatever they are I don't really wanna put another head unit in would like to use the standard one and amp the speakers with the sub I wanna try and keep my boot if I can

Go with JL Audio Slash amps, and the Hertz Mille speakers are nice for Metal. JL Slash amps have differential balanced inputs so you want get ground loop interference (alternator whine) like 99% of amps will give you. Also, they will accept high level speaker inputs from the OEM deck, so no need for a line out converter. Beware, the OEM system is noisey though...

Front speakers in the FG are an integrated type. They are designed to seal with the door trim. The cutout is not round like a normal speaker, which will require a baffle to be made. Results will be average if you don't seal with the trim due to the number and size of the service holes in the mounting baffle.

This last pic will give you an idea on how much work is required to seal up towards the trim. This isn't perfect btw, and was me just experimenting.

Does anyone know how to get BA premium sound into aux mode... I know u press the am button twice normally but in my car nothing happens... Do I have to have the aux cable installed before it will activate..? Any ideas...

Do I have to have the aux cable installed before it will activate..?

Yes, you will need to buy the aux kit (powered or non powered one) if it doesn't have it installed before it will be active

#128

Thought that might be the case... Thanks mate...

Is the aux system only avaliable on the prem systems or does it work on normal ones?

#130

Nah you can plug it in to anything, once the ICC detects it's there you access it with the AM button from memory.
