  1. Hi, this is not xr6t related however I have a yanmar tractor and the electric water temp gauge is busted. It has a range from 50-140c. I went to autobarn to find the cheapest thing I could which turned out to be a very basic VDO gauge, its range is 50-120c. Now Im no auto electrician but both having a minimum of 50 will that make them compatible with out removing the sender?? Also does anyone know of any other dirt cheap electric water temp gauges. Thanks in advance.
  2. The cd player in my ute has stopped working, as my dad owns a wreckers I have just fitted another ICC but now the screen just says CODE and the ute wont start. I have a rang three local ford dealers and have got three different answers, what is the answer to get the new ICC to work and the ute to start. P.S. only standard ICC not premium if it matters
  3. Hi its been a few months since ive been on here because I sold my T and bought a BA XLS ute. Now in my ute you can select the cd function, put the disc in, then wait for it to load then it spits the disc back out. Im not using burnt cd's or anything like that it just wont take any cd's. Does anyone have any ideas?????
  4. F6 all the way, a VE SS isn't even in the same league.
  5. I just a bought a grade 12.9 (I think standard was 8.8 or 10.9) unbrako cap screw from blackwoods it hasnt broke yet I have had it in nearly 6 months now. Im pretty sure it is an M16 x 120mm. I have pics from when I did mine. Although mine has held up, I dont know if a higher tensile bolt is actually the answer, a higher tensile bit is actually more brittle which is more prone to shearing as my original did. By the way I only paid $4 for the bolt as it is only a bolt, dont get ripped off by someone telling you its specially designed for an xr6 turbo diff.
  6. So can an octane booster or even better fuel compensate for the heat?? With the more octane can it run at a higher inlet temp with more humidity and not retard???
  7. I was wondering if anyone notices big power differences on a week to week basis. I drive my T every day to work and back it has been tuned to just under 290rwkw and some days it feels every bit of that and more , just sideways everwhere , but then other days it feels very lazy and less responsive. I have a process west stge 2 cooler but could it just be the heat in qld, or good and bad batches fuel (always bp ultimate from the same servo)
  8. I bought a cheap nasty looking set of ebay for $120 dollars and they have been going fine so far. Does your car actually starting missing and farting when one goes or do you just notice less response and power????
  9. Do we have a doctor on the forum????
  10. Im sitting at home coughing, sneezing and sweating as well, I have also been trying to avoid it for over a week. I buy all the vitamins I can from the chemist and the cold n' flu tablets with the psuedoephedrine in them, they are the only ones to get.
  11. I went from 3.45 to 3.73 with my 5 spd manual and I havent noticed any difference in the fuel economy. It is a lot beter to drive with the lower ratio so much more acceleration. I cant be certain but I would think 4.11 might be too low to have as a daily driver, I could be wrong though. Mine is a turbo though I didnt realise we were talking about N/A
  12. I had an exedy organic hd fitted about two months ago and I was told not to although I had already ordered it. But so far it has been really good at 287rwkw but I guess only time will tell. If I had my time again I would probably get an extreme clutch, they make a xhd with a 1250kg clamp load and its still organic.
  13. thanks much for the invite into your sunny coast crew, I come down there now and then on weekends to dust some commodores, but I havent been for a while. I wont be able to go on the cruise and karts day either sorry
  14. I just need to know what fits though and if a na xr6 or xt is the same, thanks anyway,
