I was alsmost had by some highly modified baby sh*t brown 80's volvo once. I was just driving along and he baited me, and I took it. I beat in a 1km race by about half a car length, but f*ck it was quick as was catching up to me. I suppose hes chopped a few stock SS's, XR8's and XR6T's in the past...

Yeah I agree, always the wrx and nissans that want a run, except for one volvo.

Had a run last night (private road of course) Was at the lights and a VX Spac, dunno if was charged but had a mighty loud zorst pulled up next to me... Didnt want to waste my time with it but... the lights go green I take off normal, he launches. Was in manual mode so I was still in first so I floor it too.. Flew past him like he was still had about 10 car lengths on him... My mates were like 'where'd he go'

Every time I pull up next to a SS/HSV, they only want to run after 100 km/hr to an absolute obsurd speed. Never off the lights... (to the speed limit of course)

This is freaky, cuz I mentioned a volvo in my other post without reading yours properly. Theres this old 80's brown volvo here in southwest sydney that's tried to run me a few times now. It looks like the most beat up pile of sh!te and yet its been worked and launches quite hard off the mark, but runs out of puff pretty quick. some old bloke with a beard drives it. If you look at it carefully you can see its got big yellow shock.

Got jumped by a Monaro on the weekend Think he was pretty impressed with the screeching tyres and sideways Phoon coming along side him at 90ks though.

Unfortunately I had to back off a bit then go again to get the car straighened up

Didn't bother realing him in from there as speeds would have been far too excessive for a double demerit weekend.
