Rebuilding Zf's

it dozent do it all the time only sometimes.

Just had the same problem. 3rd gear gets to about 4500, throws into neutral than back into third. was on the way back to mechanics to adjust ( just had zf tune , .7 front cover and 100lb injectors installed. 390rwkw) and a rod bolt let go. punched a hole through the sump. wouldnt be suprised if the trans playing up contributed to this. dont know whats next yet :-(

Dont you just luv computers. The problem might be so simple but it could take ages finding it.

well 3rd time lucky my auto decided to not shift into 3rd without lifting the foot off the gar for it to upshift, 3rd to 4th felt very doughy too so new auto builder next week, hopefully he can sort it out for me

just took the car for a drive at night and 2nd to 3rd shifted fine, something really weird going on here, obviously a temp issue

needs more Boost tony. have u change the oil in it tony.?

yea it was done less than 4,000k's ago, im sure the new place will find out y it keeps playing up
