You don't need to take that hose off.

Nothing on the phasers, just don't touch them.

Make sure you re-install the coil packs all the way home onto the plug, and that the black cover (which holds the coil packs firmly in place on the plug wells - note the reliefs in the underside of it's moulding) is bolted down as per how it came off, being careful to re-run the wires clear of any pinch points. Don't miss any of those bolts, as it may cause movement in the packs and poor connection with the head of the plug unit. The one at the back is a pr!k to get too - but it's a good insurance policy.

Umm, by the sounds of things, you might be best to do a dummy run of the car idling, to make sure you re-connected all of the coil packs correctly, before you go re-installing all of the black crossover pieces.......

Geez Chief! Find a cool spot and wait til the sun is o'er the yard arm, and pour yourself a shandy!

If you've stripped the socket, it was eiether a/ a dodgy one or b/ wrong size. The plugs are well recessed in the head and yes - you will need an extension. Shout yourself a long length plug socket with gripper, as well as a flexi joint - you'll never regret it.

WHolly Sh1t Chief. You are doing the Plugs in this heat.

You must be crazy.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but are you sure you were turning it the right way???

They shouldn't be that tight that you damaged the socket.

Anyhow make sure you have heaps of sunscreen on as it is says its 38 outside but that sun makes it feel like 50.
