Just Got My First Dyno Done

I got the dyno done at west racing. Tim certainly knows his stuff.

Tim wasnt the one who gave me the tunes.

Cost me $50 for th dyno run and we had a good chat.

He wants me to go back to the tuner and get the tunes sorted. and he'll put my car on the dyno again for free

Put your 8psi generic tune back in and dyno that. Make sure its CAPA's latest tune.

My car runs 238rwkw on the latest update of CAPAs 8psi tune - safe AFRs and smoother than stock.

CAPAs 10 psi runs lean in my car, has a great feeling and sounding midrange but ultimately pulls less power and has less flexibility than the 8 psi tune. Strange but true for my car.

I found the capa 8psi tune really bad. I must have been using an older version

I had Tim Slako tune my wrx, he is a really good guy and knows his stuff.

Im thinking of getting tim to tune my car after I buy some injectors and a new cooler. Might even get new piping made up

There's a few reasons why you are not making power, the best way to see is to get a graph of your AFRs.

You might want to check a few basics such as spark plugs, air filter and fuel pressure (clogged filter?), and get rid of all fuel and start with a full tank of 98.

I was told it was running lean the whole way through the rev range.

Also the boost droped to 6psi mid range then picked up again.

Shes booked in for a service on saturday so ill get filters and that checked.

Its last 4 tanks have bee BP Ultimate so I dont think fuel is the problem

Air filter is only a few months old and so are the spark plugs. Plugs were also gaped to .8 last week
