I think it's cheap, personally.

regards

Spiko

That's funny. :geek:

You and Brian (bcl) have a definition of 'cheap' which differs from mine, and most other peoples..

But it's fun watching other people do it!!.

I think your wasting your money mate.

Going by your signature you don't have the power to consistently break CV's.

There's plenty of car making around 400rwkw and have yet to break one. Most of the breakages come from the drag racers.

If I break them even once more, then im gunna be more than pissed!!! I HATE DOING A JOB TWICE!!! If im gunna do it, im gunna get it done write the first time!!! I dunt care if its 4 times stronger then it needs!!! that's what I want it to be!!!! SO no im not wasting my money, im investing wisely, also I am planning on getting more power!

I broke 2 while my car was stock and 2 since it's been modded.

I dont know if I like the idea of this full spool thing! Is this just an extra for spiko, or is this what has to happen??

Not sure mate, I was told a full spool is heaps stronger that the normal gearset. He also told me that if an accident occur's and someone is seriously injured or killed your car is taken, with a locked diff you could face a murder charge.

I would think for Spiro's car a full spool is a far better idea as it'll see heaps of strip use with big launches, most car's won't

It's an extra my friend. Obviously a differential upgrade isn't a bad thing though, but I'd personally wait for it to break before I thought about any alternatives. ;)

Gentleman

I did say I would post some pics so that you can understand the seriousness of the work in progress.

Some comparative pics of standard and the new also.

The pics of the stronger CV joint are of the dummy we have been using, the new ones were in the mill getting worked on.

Regards

Spiko

Spiko,

Looks like a big improvement over stock.

Are you planning to have the ABS sensor gear installed on the new units ?

It is the spiked looking gear that is needed for Traction control and ABS.
