And it was... the loin was like butter. I rock behind a bbq.

MANWIFE,

You said in your earlier posting Dane was "dairy intolerant".

Have a friend who lives in US and they have "tablets" over there that you can take prior to eating dairy products, that overcomes the "lactose intolerance" factor, if that is the component that effects Dane. Hence, she can have an ice cream for example, if she wants, without the awful side effects with her tummy.

Worth checking to see if available in Australia. Folks with gluten intolerance also often become lactose intolerant eventually.

Well my boyfriend is coming over shortly for dinner. :spoton:

I have a 40mm thick cut of porterhouse, to be rested on garlic infused mash with poppy seeds, topped with caremlised onion, raisin and cream sherry jue (sp?), some lemon grilled asparsgus, green beans with roasted pine nuts dressed in a balsamic glaze on the menu. Will post some pics when I am done.

Oh and I am half way through a bottle of cotes-du-rhone already and he hasn't even arrived. With him he is bringing a bottle of one of Tassies finest Pinot's

To go with my bottle of Otobello Pinot, should be a boozy night with awsome food.
