Hey,

I'm in a bit of a pickle, went to change the oil in my T today, bought what I thought was a "Z9 Oil Filter" which is what I asked for at the shops, assuming it would fit. Turns out, it doesn't fit at all.

Now my car sits in the driveway, oil-less and oil-filter less with all the shops closed.

Does anyone have a spare filter I can buy tonight?

Tom, bit late now but Z9 was only up to BA. BF onwards run a different filter (shorter body). Also if you can get a genuine Motorcraft filter, Coventrys is normally where I get mine.

Think we (BFs) use the same filter as the V8's do, yeah? So you can ask for an XR8 filter?

AFL-101 is the Motorcraft part number for the oil filters in BF's. I get mine from Auto One on Errindale Road, I'm assuming all the other Auto Ones would stock it too.

Lucky for Tom I keep spares. Sorted him out with one of the ones I had laying around.

I went by the thread on the forums, that stated "Z9" didn't occur to me that it may have been outdated. Maybe a mod could update the post?

Guys if anyone is interested I'm off loading my ETM replacement oil supply line kit with Earls filter as I am just going to turf the small screen out of the fitting in the block 2moro when I give it its 5k oil change....

Its new and been collecting dust for some time,PM me if interested will be going cheap
