they charged me $70 approx 18months ago, not sure now but I doubt there would be much of a price rise.

Car went in for its 15,000km service last week. Got them to replace and inspect the fuel filter after hearing of dirty fuel at Scarborough BP. They tapped the used filter onto some white paper and it was clean as a whistle. Looks like toads must have been really unlucky.

Good to hear mate definately worth replacing or at least checking the fuel filter every 15K especially if you have an edited car! I know I will.

Anyone want a 3.5" Metalcat in the next 2 or 3 months? Not sure on the price yet but should be discounted in some way.

Go and buy a prius if you're so concerned. oh and brendan you may as well take that cooler thermostat out as well coz we all know that the hotter the engine the less emisions it produces, that's why ford have it set so high.

I seriously don't see the big deal, there is so so many things that cause pollution and on a worse scale than say removing or gutting a cat that are deemed legal, give ppl a break, it's their decision.

I reckon a near new xr6t with no cat would still produce less emisions than 50% of the cars on the road anyway ie diesels, trucks, buses, v8s, rotaries, 2 strokes, old cars that dont have a cat, cars that have their cat fail and don't even realise etc, etc
