Aaron has a guard roller. I am sure of it.

Sounds like we need a maint day at Phill's place to get his ute back to stock and to roll your guards?????

a maintenance day would be sweet, but

(1) I think most of us (usually) have done all the little mods and servicing ourselves, so that all is left are the big things, needing to be done at our own places (given the cars need to be "taken off the road"),
(2) most of us struggle for free-time to work on our cars these days, so a whole maintenance day may be even harder to sort with a heap people.

..... Anyone want to help me change the fuel pump in my Ute? Lol, yeah Tocchi, I do agree, but if Phil is happy to put his hand up again we can try for a day for as many as can make it. If no work is needed, it's a good excuse to have a barbie and talk sh*t.

Back at work and lost your train of thought?

Nope, just fitting up 285's on the rear this break and the 275's touched the guards if the back squatted/dipped. Just want to make sure they are clear with the slightly wider tyres.

I have a guard roller and have done many.  I know FG sedan has a small lip. Does the ute have a large lip??  I can show you how to do it BUT I ain't touching any car that isn't mine

Yes limited quality rubber and yes expensive. I've had a few different brands, all in 275/30/20. Yokohama tend to taper in slightly, Bridgestone are a little more square, sumi's taper... Going the KU31's this time in 285. Wider and less difference in rolling diameter when paired with 245/35/20. Wanted to spend the money on some continental S5's, but remembered I'm trying to save for some new 19" rims. Will spend more on rubber when I get them.

.

It's about a 3/4 inch lip Arron (rear, tub lip). Might just get the local panel beater to do it for $10 a side

Will test them out at the drags... Fun times. Although a little worried about my flex plate...... Just cos. Was reading the WAW thread and Steve has me nervous
