Fpv Territory?

Working in Campellfield, watch car carriers go by towards the FPV workshop.

Six cars on these transporters, the Two at the front are Phoon or GT donor cars, you know, orange spare wheels all round, no bumpers, the remaining four are all Territory's, all black and all Ghia's.

Now why would you put the two donor cars at the front of the truck when you have to move all those Territory's just to get them off????

I think FPV do all the XRs when it comes to R&D so chances are there are some more Turbo Terry Test mules, or about to be LOL. I wonder if an FPV terry arrives, if it will be auto only? One would think so. And AWD LOL!

Yeh I reakon they will be all autos aswell. You cant get a manual in a standard terri yet anyway....However if FPV are doing the turbo terris we may well see the typhoon version of the turbo 6 in there and not the standard T motor, which might mean manual if we are lucky

FPV do all the bull bars on Territory's so that's why they would have been on the truck .. but no harm in thinking of the what if's

Saw one driving out of the FPV R&D workshop all taped up the other day. I thought hmmm turbo but it had a deep exhaust note to it.

GTs go to FPV to get the bumpers, wheels and other stuff fitted. I doubt Ford are going to go to all trouble of building a GT just to have FPV pull it apart again and stuff the running gear into a Territory, especially when FPV already have all the parts lying around anyway. The V8 won't fit in the Territory, the CAPA version used a modified Falcon fron't end.

A turbo 6 version of a Territory has been rumoured for some time, but not yet officially confirmed or denied. If it eventuates it will be interesting to see if it is Ford or FPV badged and what power output the motor will have.
