I doubt Ford are going to go to all trouble of building a GT just to have FPV pull it apart again and stuff the running gear into a Territory, especially when FPV already have all the parts lying around anyway. The V8 won't fit in the Territory, the CAPA version used a modified Falcon fron't end.I think you misinterpreted his point - he wasn't suggesting that parts from the V8s were destined for the Territorys at all. He was in fact stating exactly what you are saying - the bumpers and wheels are put on at FPV - which is why the cars travel from the Ford plant with orange steelies and no bumpers.A turbo 6 version of a Territory has been rumoured for some time, but not yet officially confirmed or denied. If it eventuates it will be interesting to see if it is Ford or FPV badged and what power output the motor will have.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>It's only a rumour but a very definite one IMO - hasn't been any secret about the Turbo Territory for a long time now. The project got pushed back by FPV because of unexpected demand for the GTs, some engine build probs/delays with the BOSS 290, and also the clutch problems with the Typhoon. When it happens it will be FPV not Ford who will be shipping them. There won't be a manual tranny - only the six speed auto. It will be the Typhoon spec motor. They will be doing Ghias only and all will be AWD versions.

Guest Dean Turbo Guests Posted 20/07/05 07:40 AM Posted 20/07/05 07:40 AM I also work in Campbellfield & see these cars all the time. I spoke to a FPV engineer in the local tuck shop & he told me there will be a turbo 6 and a diesel version of the Terri.
