Any chance someone can post a sound of what the car sounds like?  or even some comments on how loud it is inside and out.

Unfortunately- in NZ - it is hard to see and hear someones car who has done this - nobody seems to be doing it!

Cheers

I haven't got an audio file but I can tell you (like everyone else who's done this mod) that the sound is 100 times better than stock without being over the top or droney.

I was concerned about it being too load but its just right...

It just makes the car sound a lot 'beefier' and it has a slight burble at idle and when backing off the right foot. :uziman:

So many people can't be wrong - by the way I have the 2 1/2" mandrel bent with hotdogs

To anyone who is thinking about doing this mod - you wont regret it!! :spoton:

Hi all,

Has anyone had this done in QLD? Any suggestions where to take the car? Total cost?

Cheers

Fulch, check out this thread. I think the last price I saw from Exotic Exhaust (in Sumner Park, Brisvegas) was just $260 for a fully flanged, mandrel bent replacement with hot dogs.

I removed my centre muffler yesterday and it sounds awsome.

I highly recomend it to everyone. I had the whole middle section removed and replaced with manderal bent 2 1/4" pipes.

For all those in WA I recomend going to Exhaust Torque.

Cheers

Adrian

PS I believe there is slightly more responce now also.

I'm considering removing the centre muffler on my T, but I'm a bit curious! I would like a nice note from the exhaust, I would like a increase in power, but I don’t what it too loud or to drone through the car.

This subject has been discussed before. What would be nice is some sound files and pic’s of just pipes, pipes with hotdogs and say a high quality free flowing muffler?

I will be doing it just I’m a bit unsure of which option as there seems to be some mixed thoughts.
