Glad you're happy with the results. On a side note, Dave and Dean how does the high stall effect driving around town? Is it more sluggish and does it tend to use more fuel?I have a similar high stall. I don't think it affects fuel economy much if at all. On my recent trip up north I was averaging 10.5/100km's measured physically. Not sure around town as it depends on my mood. It doesn't make the car sluggish either. My stall is only 2700-2800rpm, I can launch at the track at 2750 but on the road I am unable to stall it up past 2200rpm without causing wheel spin.Geea. Once the torque converter locks up though geea, of course fuel economy wont change, as it is in direct drive .Even at light throttle positions, just taking off you will be running a few rpm more, enough to have a small impact anyway.

Haven't noticed a difference on the highway. Driving around town is affected only slightly. Its more of a case the car feeling like its begging to be opened up and the throttle nailed now, more than before the stall.I'd recommend you get one mate. You'll notice a difference, especially at your power levels.I think Yarra do 2500 stalls in theirs. that's what they told me anyhow. Im looking to get mine done shortly, after some other work, but Im not sure I like the fact that it might be more sluggish unless I boot it in the arse more. Perhaps I might stick with the standard stall. Dunno

I can't use it though as the ute goes straight into limp mode if I put my foot on the brake and try to stall it at all. That's all about to change though! The ute is booked into HPF after easter to have the edit done so I can use the stall and have some of the torque restrictions lifted and a few other bits and pieces soughted out.At this stage my Unichip will remain in place to control the rest. I will let you all know how it goes once done.

With the Turbo and now the edit you can have everything in all areas now and be able to Start, Idle, Pull down Low, Rev Hard, Pull up high, in fact have whatever you like. It’s bloody fantastic. It sounds like to me that Pashen is now an absolute pleasure to drive and another Fine example of the tuning talent combined with the Edit.On a side Note: It’s finally come about when some of the constant Negative posters have seen the benefits of the Edit and have stopped the constant nit picking and finally appreciate the Edit for what its worth. Not one negative post in this thread even from one of the worst critics… About bloody time! Now we can all get on with life with the edit and move onto the next generation in fine tuning of our FORDS…….. WooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOsh

To say I'm happy would be an understatement.Martin, yes, of course its bloody nice. Awesom product, and awesome distributors and tuners you have in HPF. Since you're here, care to shed some light on the Dyno/Wheel size thread? If I dyno'd PASHEN now on 17's, would the hell would power probably show in excess of 335rwkw on my high map? (currently 308rwkw on 19's).Appreciate your input as an experienced tuner please.
Street Tuner Member 727 Member For: 23y 8m 24d Posted 24/03/05 07:16 AM Posted 24/03/05 07:16 AM You would be close to 335rwkw....but there is only one definitive way to find out!
