Hey guys, Am looking at buying a boost gauge, Oil temp and oil pressure gauge. What sort can you guys reccommend? I was looing at ozegauge.com.au but from what I have heard they are no good when the sun is out. Any ideas? Anyone selling gauges? Marty

Hi guys, So loving my New/old G6E Turbo. Been doing it heaps, forgot how much I missed Boost lol. However I have noticed something weird. My temp gauge never seems to reach half way on the gauge typically just 1/4 to 3/8. I live in QLD I know its a bit cooler at the moment but every car I have ever driven will always get to temp being half way on the gauge? Is this a normal thing? or would it be a faulty gauge? I have heard people mention something about a cold thermostat? is that a thing that would cause this? any help would be geat thanks guys Ben

G'day guys, Im relatively new to this forum to which I have also just purchased a FG Mk1 XR6T Ute. I'm wanting to learn how to mod my car and do different things, and work out what aftermarket parts my ute has (which I will ask in the appropriate sections). What I wanted to ask was, has anyone come up with some creative locations in putting different gauges within a ute or sedan (preferably a FG). If anyone has any pics and would like to post them in this thread, that would be greatly appreciated. The only reason I am wanting to put gauges in is the fact the last person who owned the ute has done some mods, and the mods are having an effect with the boost allowing it to spike quiet often. Hi guys, Not sure if this topic has been raised before but, I've got a MK2 XR6 turbo and was wanting to put some gauges in (boost, oil press.) and was wondering if anyone knows if someone makes a gauge holder to sit above the ICC. I know they make one for the MK1 but have yet to see one for the MK2. If anyone could let me know if they make them it would be much appreciated Thanks, Matthew

G'day everyone I have recently traded my 09 FG F6 manual for a 11 FG XR6T auto ute and was wondering if any could tell me if the XR will run the boost and oil temp gauges if I performed a dash conversion any experience?? Cheers in advance!!
