  1. great night for a run along the coast was an excellent turnout for a sunday night.. well done to the paparazzi for shooting some really nice pics (SINFUL,NINKA,XXXR6T) was about time I met some more proud turbo owners and I got to see some really well modified cars on display.. thx to all who helped organise the event and a bbq sounds cool for next trip.. maybe somewhere we can stretch the cars legs a bit more and have a bit of fun dave
  2. is that thing even lowered? I had ian at wilko's fit the konis all round, kings ssl, reset rears as I dont use it as a ute and a front 30mm bar.. its probably too low now its settled but it looks dam fine.. simon(xtreme) has now changed my dyno printouts and account name to daves stupidest lowest ute ever wont even go up his new workshop driveway without scraping the exhaust.. if I can make time and come up for the sunday night cruise hopefully I will get over the speedhumps in kings park!
  3. 9 places.. man that's bad.. I stay off the bikes coz I know ill hurt myself.. no sense seems to be me weakness:) his leg will need to be scaffolded up like a skyscraper! hope he gets better and gets back to 100%.. good luck dude:)
  4. hopefully the better half and I will be there.. if the utes running by then.. so with some luck we will just meet you guys at freo and have a few coldies at brighton and some lunch will have to keep my eyes to myself at the brighton
  5. Ah sucks mate. We have all been there at some time... others move on and become happy again while others get jaded and end up being lonely for a long time. Myself and my friends were shy at meeting women and we had problems but then one of my mates bought an Attract women ebook vol.1 from Attract women site (the article) and we all read it too and it had some cool tips and step by step advice on how to get confidence and approach chicks... id post it on here but I dont think the mods will like us breaking copy right laws Anyway im a lot happier now that I have the will and power to go out and strike convos with pretty much any girl I want. Prolyl sounds like bs but amazingle it works. ← You think that suck's My wife of 11 yrs been together for 19 yrs told me 1 week before xmas she was leaving and she left xmas day and yes we have kids yes I still love her Rob ← sh*t that's harsh mate.. keep your chin up and look for you good mates to steer you through..
  6. in the new brochures theres about 10 shades of blue to green.. most of them are pretty av.. and most wont be continued by the end of the year.. it actually says that on the brochure.. why so many colour changes?
  7. just send your ICC to fadi at ALS.. get some real RCA outputs(I have 3!)from the deck without voiding warranty.. and have 3 RCA inputs for ipod video, rear camera and DVD:)
  8. trent at TKO is the best for dark or tricky tints.. had nearly 10 cars over 4 years done by trent and its a great job by great bloke.. AND was cheaper than any tintmaster/3m/stripmaster bloke each time:)
  9. Beanie, I don't want to start an argument here, but do you really think the BF rods are 100% safe at 385rwkw? I seem to remember that the rods are no stronger than F6 rods, and some of those have broken or bent at less power than 385rwkw. I'm interested in you thoughts on this, as I have the full Nizpro kit, and 2 x 2 1/2" quad tip exhaust, with SMB 4" dump and 5" cat, and I decided to upgrade my rods, but still have stock pistons, and running about 345rwkw. ← ninka.. my bf xr6t has f6 rods and I had around 360-370rwkw.. when simon pulled them out they where in great shape... but I havent done a lot of km's with them:)
  10. id be interested depending on how some of FSIX's questions are answered.. maybe

You don't need the keys or pin number to steal a car. All you need is a flat-top truck and push the car to it, and tow it away. My Sti has broken down 3 times with a dodgy air-flow meter (which I no longer use), so I know how easy it is to tow it away.... I also use a brandt keypad, but I also use a gearshift lock device that will at least stall the thieves a bit. Also, a lot of work-shops are in or around industrial areas, where they are unlikely to be easily detected. Brian ← first of all can I say sorry for not mentioning how much what happens sux's.. should have put that straight in there and I hope you/son get your value back in the car in $$ or its safe return.. might only be the newer ones then cos as soon as mine tried to get flat-bedded it set of the sat track system with the brandt.. subi aus had a phone call telling them my car was being nicked from thier yard:) least I knew it worked.. I had to get fuji industries to re-set the brandt master code after.. there was no way it was gunna start.. also had aniti-hijack and counted sh*t like how many times the door was tried to be open after its alarmed..

how the f*#k did they do that? did the garage leave all the pin numbers for the brandts in the cars at night? dunno how else you can steal one with out the chip in the key and the brandt pin.. subaru aus couldnt get my sti started AT ALL untill I gave them a ring from bali and gave them my brandt number.. and when they leave pin numbers around insurance comp's dont like to pay for it.. they are that hard to steal without having the pin and the chip my insurance was half the cost of the ute but the sti cost way more.. better crash ratio as well..
  13. XR06T and 03XR6T.. if your both coming from rocko wanna cruise up together?
  14. yep spool up is correct if the rest of the system flows good.. like the cat.. ive heard and read that the only diff between single 4" and twin dumps is the 4" has a bit more 'turbine' spool-up noise.. ive got a 4" and it whines when it spools up.. u get used to it id say any need a custom tune to match..
  15. I kow you meant understeer at the start there but new cars are setup with understeer from factory as a rule.. stops the common man from swerving to quick and losing it.. how hard do you push the ute mate? maybe I was used to sti corner speeds and was pushing mine too far.. when on the limit they have understeer for shizzle.. good tyres mate too.. toyo t4's 245's.. does yours understeer in the wet quite easily? get some neg camber up front with a neautral rear.. will help on cornering and wear if you like going around corners most days kinda fast get cracking man.. the day is getting older
  16. 'none' from factory? I thought it was a stock part arent the bf xrt's the same suspension as typh's/torn's anyways? I could tell mine had it straight after delivery.. I was coming from an 05 sti(whiteline g4 coilovers, swaybars, strutbraces, underbody brace) that I tracked a fair few times at wanneroo, collie and mc at ahg with a rally stage or 2 thrown in.. no race driver but you get a better feel for things when you can repeat them over again on the track.. once you finish it of and have a drive you might get a better idea of what I mean.. youll feel it straight away when entering corner and youll see your apex speeds increase.. and a stiifer front bar will help with the oversteer at the back a bit.. ive noticed its a lot more settled sideways(on mates private road yadayada) as well.. the koni's are beautiful mate sounds like my price wasnt too bad seeing as I only got the "will cash be cheaper" discount!
  17. $1400 for 30mm bar, kings ssl fronts, re-set and heat treated rears, semi-adjustable koni's all round, rolled front gaurds, fitted my front brembo's/rotors/braided lines, wheel alignment as I wanted some front -camber, re-balance and boy what a difference
  18. If it's understeering stock, fitting a bigger front bar will only make it worse, you surely want to stiffen the back up to make it more neutral. ← a bigger front bar will try to prevent body roll and promote faster turn in with less delay or so I I was taught.. which is one of the causes of understeer.. my ute turns in way faster and gets "set" earlier in the corner so you can add a bit more speed with confidence than what it did.. rear bars in utes are not really recommended, even by some people at a popular swaybar manufacturer and all the decent WA suspension shops because we already have a sh*t load of oversteer in the utes when it does go.. rear bar just promotes that.. add to that xtreme tune and 275's and..
  19. you'll love the way it rides with the koni's mate.. I had mine lowered, hell slammed nearly even though I didnt really want it that low... they rolled the front gaurds as the front tyres are up in the gaurd a bit with the koni's its actually a better ride even that low.. excellent rebound bumb compared to oem and it almost feels like the back is connected to the front now if you know what I mean(ute drivers all know!) I used a 30mm front bar also.. why bother with anything else in the utes when you got that much understeer stock due to the rear end.. you get bushes with the bars and the shocks also.. I noticed its all nolathane I think?? how'd you go getting them in?
  20. my last car(sti) had twin gauges on a pillar and cops never hassled me once..
  21. F6 is black.. the ute is ego.. have to keep an eye out for you jona down rocko mate.. I hardly see any t's around here.. mostly xr8's or como's.. where are all you rocko guys???
  22. spotted ramons new f6 in nth perth yestarday.. gunna look really slick and classy with with what you got planned mate.. gotta show me when u get it done..
  23. might be on the glue??
  24. lots of guys, me included, are making good power(330rwkw+) with just 4" dump and cat setups with stock exhausts.. depends what sound you want I guess
