Mint Lp
Cheers guys Yeah Shaz it is already mounted on my wall in front of my desk, but staring at it every day makes it all the more tempting! Im with the majority though, I dont think I will play it, ill keep the original for value sake and download the songs for listening sake..... Apparently there is a way to check whether LP's have ever been played or not, I dont really know as they are a little before my time, but an enthsiast can tell (so im told) Cheers Nut

Mint Lp
Hey guys, I am a MASSIVE Led Zeppelin fan, even though they are way before my time. My wonderful girlfriend recently found and bought me a copy of their first ever LP (the one with the black and white blimp on the front). This LP has never been played, it is in mint condition. I was just wondering what you guys would do - play and enjoy the music of the LP? Or leave it in its mint condition? Cheers Nut

Cat Sizing
Hey guys, About to get a high flow cat (metal cat) put in my T by a local mechanic shop (seems to be the only place in Townsville that does them to the T). But when we looked under the car he suggested that 3.5" was the biggest I could go witht he stock system. Going by my tuners recommendations I was really hoping for a 4" cat. My question is (sorry if its a stupid one) - despite the differing body size between say a 3" cat and a 4" cat, is there much difference in difficulty of fitting them? Should a 4" cat be able to be put in no problem? Or is 3.5" as good as its going to get without major exhaust modifications? Cheers Nut

Shock's Weight Loss
Of course if you drink 3L of water you will gain 3kg providing you dont urinate any out. Whichever way the body may disperse it, its still 3L of water in your body. If you eat 1kg of cheese you will add 1kg to your immediate weight, however of course over time the majority of this is lost through the body's waste metabolism. I highly doubt you will be able to drink anywhere near enough water to achieve hyponatremia in a normal state. Hyponatremia is definitely possible, however it is reasonably uncommon, and most occurences are usually hospital errors due to IV over hydration, or extreme sodium loss. To help retain water definitely eat some very high salt meals, this will also greatly decrease the likelihood of hyponatremia. Diuretics are great for immediate liquid loss however, depending on your age and fitness I definitely wouldnt recommend them in too high or frequent doses due to cardiac side affects. Cheers

Chinese Atv's
Hey mate, I used to race ATV's for many years and have owned a Honda 400ex, Yamaha Banshee and Yamaha Raptor 660 all quite highly modified. Now I know these bikes are nothing like you are describing but believe me when it comes to reliability you really should stick to the big brands. You get what you pay for. With Honda and Yamaha I had very few mechanical problems (ever) and believe me I thrashed the a$$ out of those bikes. Plus I know you say now, as the responsible parent, they wont be raced or jumped, but give the kids a few years. As much as you may want to deny it its only a matter of time. My mum swore black and blue I couldnt have a race bike but then dad was added into the equation and it became a great hobby of ours. They have copped a bad wrap over the years but believe me you will never have as much fun as what you do on a quad IMO!!! Hope this helps Cheers

Spotted P Plater 388rwkw Bf Xr6 Turbo
I honestly believe one the brightest things which the government/department of transport has proposed in a long, long time is for all P platers to have to undergo a compulsory defensive driver training program. I would have loved to have done one.

Spotted P Plater 388rwkw Bf Xr6 Turbo
A while ago when I heard about the new road rules coming in for younger drivers in Queensland I did a bit of web research myself to see if I could justify (in my own mind) whether the governments new laws were plausible. Now I realise that there is a lot of crap on the internet and am happy to be proven wrong but - from a few research papers which I read it demonstrated that the leading cause of death for under 25's was speed, YES, but it also went further to say that there was no evidence to show that higher powered vehicles demonstrated any higher mortality rates. This was just a google search, so please feel free to prove otherwise, just thought id add that little bit of trivia Cheers Nut

Spotted P Plater 388rwkw Bf Xr6 Turbo
Im 21 and on my second car with my T hopefully making in the area of 250-270 rwkw soon. I agree with most of the sentiments on here that young drivers often are stupid and have an invincibility power trip. Unfortunately we have seen far too many fatalities on the raod up here in NQ due to a mixture of high octane and high testosterone (the memorial near the strand sends shivers up my spine every time I pass it). However, I do believe that it is a vast over assumption and generalisation to assume that ALL young guys with modified cars are a fatality waiting to happen. Yes of course there is always the lads in their fully sic wrx or VL who gives the rest of us a bad name. But if I may speak for myself and most of mates, we are just performance enthusaists like the rest of you guys. Why do any of us seek more power when 100km/h is the speed limit? Sorry if I just thought id add my 2c Cheers guys Nut

Cobalt Fuel Pressure Guage

Cobalt Fuel Pressure Guage
Hey guys, Hoping you guys might be able to help clarify things for me, I have been looking at having the two guage pod put in my T with a boost/vac guage and also hopefully a fuel pressure guage. However I went into autobarn to price these, and the boost guage was fine at $170, but then I was quoted $480 for the fuel pressure guage alone. This cant be right surely? Cheers
