Mine is Feb o4 and has the blue engine bay with the blueprint overspray that they get in the engine bay when painted at factory.Hey jaeyon your engine bay is normal as they painted the engine bays in the colour called anthricite black which can be gloss or matt, the blue speck is overspray from when they paint the vehicles as they are assembled when getting sprayed and they don't bother masking them up .

Looks pretty good especially with pumped gaurds, much better than Vz. Still not as good as Ba or Bf ford . Won't catch me buying one.

Sunroofs are great this is my first ride that has had one and I don't think I would not be able to have one. Even the misses wasn't very keen on it to start with now she loves it .Although one anoying thing is that when roof is closed and hoodling open you get a wind wistle on hwy but I can live with that.Don't think there is a fix 4 that , unless someone knows of a fix.

Does John bowe kit have upgraded exhaust ? Because u could have a partial blockage at the cat if it has the standard exhaust as I have a mate who experienced same sort of problem. Just check temp differential between front and back of cat.

I have removed the matt black paint with 2K thinner .I found that polishing it with any type of metal polish makes it look like The cooler had to be removed all up took about 1.5hrs to do from start to finish.

I think some of these dynos u boys r running on have been tampered with I would like to c these stock power figures on a true reading dyno a lot of places adjust their settings so that they can give u back a nice juicy reading. There is no way a stock T can do around 200 rwkws on a true reading dyno. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I have been told.

That sucks about the damage to the T If your getting both sides resprayed except the passenger doors I would be getting them to atleast clear them so she looks sweet down both sides. Makes it less obvious it been in a dingle. Its a pitty u have to wait till after xmas to get her fixed up would be driving u having to look at it like that.

Guys Fantasy is like anyother paint coulour and can be match to your vehicle . The only difference being that it a 3stage colour using a specific ground coat {usually black} to give off its final effect where as normal colours like blueprint are a 2stage and don't need a groudcoat. All the paint companies like PPG,glasurit ,spieshecker ,standox and dupont will have a formula for Fantasy and will be fairly close some than others as factory painted vehicles can vary alot as air pressure , temperature , opacity and application cause variations in the final outcome of the paintjob this is the case for all colours. So who will have the best match off the mixing machine my guess would be PPg as they have been the sole supplier of basecoats and topcoats to ford aust since early 2002 along with Expensive Daewoo and toyta aust. In the end its just paint and as long as u have a good painter on your side who knows what he or she are doing there should be no worries in getting a fantasy colouored car repaired this goes for all coloured cars.

For those of u who have seen Ian's car u will know it is a awsome example of what u can do with the ba turbo .But if u haven't get out and buy the lateset Street Fords mag as it is featured from pages 28-35 this is one smick ride . So Ian if your reading this congrates on the feature Goldie looks unreal.

Take someone with u who knows what their looking for when it comes to the body work that way u will know if it has had anything done to it and if it has damage on the rear bar from his wife driving it my guess is there might be some other little things that might need attention as well.But if its just the rear bar that needs the repair it can be done relativly cheap say $280-$400 depending on how bad it is damaged so if its just that $ 26500 sound like a very good price.

Just wondering what others thought, as a spraypainter I think its great that ford are continuing with their awesome colours.

Has anyone seen a new BF XR in Fantasy yet? It is a purple chameleon that has been released for the BF XRs only. As a $1600.00 option do u think many will go for it? , and if u have seen it what do u think?
