I am getting the asame setup today... well I pick it up tomorrow... my car had around 370rwklw with a cappa cooler and standard crossover when it was manual. I cant wait to see what it pulls now...

unless they stripped it and turned it into a replica it is not the one that got stolen.

I am trying to get the setup right for next week... I dont think I will go all out just get some times under my belt... we should get a group together. I know C and V are trying to get a couple of there cars out there

thunder storms are forcast... I know people are running around trying to get brakes and front runners but I do not think the clouds will hold off... oh well... maybe next week

depending on numbers we should get a lane out there in a month or so... and go for a couple of records at the same time...

if all goes well, I might be out there with some good power to put some times in... pedends on how we go with the tune and the new cooler

any dyno sheets to see the power and how it comes on?? big power there. are you taking it to the track at all?

My local Nissan dealer has taken around 15 orders for these beasts. they have filled there quoter for the first 6 months already. so like Mal if you want one I would get in quickly... congrats on the purchase Mal now who will be the lucky person to get your Phoon??

I have been a ford salesman for a number of years.(I am now with Expensive Daewoo through) what happens is the dealer orders the car with the factory, it goes into a line of cars. the dealer tells the factory which options and colour the car is. so it all depends on when your car was ordered with the factory, and when they new styling hits the production line. you also have to remember that your car could have already been built and is sitting in Ford stock. or it has already started on the prodution line before the changes took place. best thing to do is call the dealer and get him to check with his stock control. the salesman should be able to tell you with a simple phone call to his stock control. good luck with it and congrats on the purchase.

do you have a hard plastic boost line running to your boost?? if so it sounds like you have a kink or a cresae in the line somewhere... you should be reading somewhere between 15 and 20. but to give tou an idea mine idles at 10... and that is through an electronic boost gauge

the Turbo 400 is the way to go... I use more fuel but that is because of the way I drive also. the box is great and well worth the money to build it right. do not cheap out on the box as it will not last long. you can buy a turbo 400 for like $2000 but I would not recommend these boxes. protrans did mine and besides the length of time it took it is an unreal box. full manual with B & M shifter the 4th gear is a good option if you plan to sit on freeways but unless you are doing that the 3 gears are very well balanced for the power levels I am pumping through it. DO NOT go a C4 as although they are easyer to fit I have not heard of a falcon and one of these lasting long together I am more then happy to take anyone for a drive on a cruise one night... just come say hi and tell me your from the site... any more info you want just let me know. P.S I am running 3500rpm stall

if there is an Australian supplyer I would do it tomorrow morning, just so see what it looks like. I think the rings would have to be diff sizes as well??!?!?! if anyone knows a shop in sydney that would do it let me know and I will get it done and post some pics

the ford box feels like it is sticking in and out of gears, including going from 3rd - 2nd. you should never have to force a box into gear. I know I sound like a salesman but the Malwood shifter transforms this box into a very easy box to drive around town, at the same time you can trust you will hit the gear when you give it a hit. another option in fixing the gear box is GETTING A TURBO 400 3 SPEED........LOL

I have seen these rods used on 2 cars and there are no problems, the big thing when using them is matching the pistons to suit if that makes sense. if you are chasing 350rwklw-470rwklw(manaul) then these rods will be good. at the same time do not race into it as there are some good rods with very good results for about the same price.

I want it for track use only! I think I will have to get dampers and sway bars. I already have springs. and I will have to go coils soon enough. thanks for the help guys!!!

yeah I was thinking that. we sold him the phantom xr8 so he knows me. he also did my springs. what is everyone running?? 27mm each end with adjustments?? at the same time can I just go the non adjustment one as all I want it for is to make it stiff. I will never get under there and move it around!! I would just have it on the stiffest setting anyway

I had this problem for a little while. a new clutch sorted things out... it is just the gating system in the 6 speed manual. it is mstupid because the GM 6 speed box is so good I do not know how trhey f*cked ours up so badly... if you do not want to go the clutch. the best thing to do would be to get a MALWOOD shifter. they are very well priced and not only will it sort out all your gating problems... they make the Ford 6 speed something else. I think everyone will tell you the same thing. you can try going back to ford with this problem but there is little to no adjustment on them.

I am trying to find out a good price on whiteline sway bars for my sedan!! anyone got any ideas? if not should we look at a group buy for something like this? Regards Chris

I had not seen any untill today!! this is where all our taxes are going?? making sure mr police man can catch me that much quicker now?? and stop just alittle bit better then me. and use less fuel then me... filthy
