Anyone Used This Auto Yet?
Looks good. Like the idea of having a dipstick, ffs that should have already been there in the first place!!! Anyway, does anybody know if NOHOPE is a member oh here? If so, it might be a good idea to ask him of his experience with this transmisiion before going any further perhaps?

True, but auto cars being quicker than manuals is also a fact my friend.... I mean, no wonder most of the manual boyz wanting to cruise to arthurs seat as it only has a single crusing lane. hahaha But seriously, I couldnt care if I had a man or auto as long as it fken whips most out there.....

Upgrading CVs?
- Upgrading CVs?
Hi guys, Im wanting stronger cv's on my BA XR6T and wanna know what my options are regarding price and where to get them from?? Im thinking billet cv's as they seem to the best option for performance applications..... cheers- Was There Bas Batch Of Fuel
ok it is- Was There Bas Batch Of Fuel
Well I know or believe that the fuel in my car is fine as a few ppl filled up from the servo last night and had no issues so I guess the mgr was being quite honest with what he had to say this morning.... This now narrows my diagnosis down to a possible dodgy fuel pump or a commonly kinked fuel pump hose which was the same issue I had last time.... Whatever the issue is be will be updated in this topic hoping that it can help out another fellow XR6T owner.- Was There Bas Batch Of Fuel
Filled up a full tank of name removed last night around 10-10:30pm and noticed the beast was coughing and jerking @ 3500-4000rpm's. Im suspecting it was a bad batch of fuel with possibly a bit of water in there as car was running fine prior to filling up... I've since got in contact with the mgr @ name removed who apparently was working there last night and said the fuel was tested several times with some sort fuel indicator that they use and all seemed well?? My q is, did anyone fill up from that servo last night and if yes, did any of you guys encounter any issues as I've never had any problems with the servo in the last 2 years of using it?? I have however, changed the fuel filter this morning and added half a litre of metho in the fuel tank which has somewhat improved but its still not running 100% right. My next step would be to run down the fuel and hope it was a bad batch but also remember having some issues with a dodgy fuel pump hose a while back that caused similar issues.... any suggestions/feedback welcomed.... cheers, San- Xrdose @ Calder
What power levels are u running mate? Good to see u running a decent 60ft time as I have the same tyres on my car..Maybe I should take mine down the 1/4 aswell and see what she does.. lol Anyways, nice time and im sure you can run an even better one with a pair of MT's in the near future. Time to update your sig.- Xr6 Turbo For P-Plater <Merged Topic>
No offence taken but what can you say??? There are all types of ppl where some get their p's as soon as they turn 18 (like myself) and there are some that have never driven a car their whole lyfe? I mean, who cares what ppl think its what makes you happy and if some ppl choose not to drive or to drive at a later stage than so be it.- Xr6 Turbo For P-Plater <Merged Topic>
Your best bet would be to fill in a "Exemption form for High Powered Vehicle" which enables P platers to drive a V8 or Turbo powered vehicle for situations where they have no other option or access to get to places. You can download this form from the Vicroads website or you can grab it from your local branch. Your missus and the doc needs to fill it out and once all the necessary processes have been dealth with you should then receive a response within 2 weeks. My missus got a exemption to drop and pick up the kids from school and shes luvvin every bit of driving a T on her p's- Calder 9/7 Icer Debut
Yeah man that's it, take it step by step and you will eventually get there.- Calder 9/7 Icer Debut
I disagree, dont forget he has a big ass stall converter which is sucking up about 30-50rwkw so he does have the power to achieve his goal but it obviously comes down to "practise makes perfect" and getting traction off the line which he wont get with his current semi slicks.... IMO if you want to get the best possible ET you would need a gd 60ft and for that to happen you would need to source a pair of MT's or Hoosier's tyres. Last but not least have you considered raising your rear end to lessen the stress on your cv's? I mean it would suck to see the night end before it begins??- Calder 9/7 Icer Debut
Yeah man credit for getting this far lol, however just go out and enjoy the moment.- Ba / Bf Question....

Have a look at my avatar pic, fake 19's with 6 pots ")- Falken Fk452 V Toyo T1R
R1R's wont last 6 months? Are you serious? Mine have lasted over a year and still look and grip as good as new. Mind you, I totally rape my car week in week out and there are no signs of what you have mentioned above. I had T1R's in 18's a while back and found that my car was dancing all over the road hence why I upgraded to R1R's and havent looked back. Im not totally satisfied with the tyres I have tried but what can u expect with a car is producing over 350rwkw!!!- Falken Fk452 V Toyo T1R
I've run T1R's which wernt too bad but if you can get R1R's in 20's then give them a go as they are the next model up and hook up well once warmed up... - Upgrading CVs?
