Okay thanks XXXRT, Typhoon should look even meaner with the silver IC! No need for me to post up some pics now they are all great! I actually bought mine from ebay (its a Citric acid Mk1 GTP). The guy (In adelaide) is selling them for $75.00 (even though he wants a buy now price of more) and is all ligit. These models were worth $165 when brand new, and mine is immac in never opened condition. His latest one which is also citric acid just finished on ebay, however noone bought it so il think he will post it up again soon. I actually went and picked it up from his house and he was all good! You aint gonna receive an empty classic carlectable box with this guy that's all im trying to say, and despite it being a MK1 (I dont actually own one I own the Phoon so I didnt relly care, I just wanted one to complete the FPV sedan lineup that's all) youll save heaps. I have had mine on order for around 3 weeks now! I paid $150 (100 down now and the rest when it comes). I cant wait, pity its not silhouette :pulease: . The detail on these cars is fantastic, I already have a GTP, It has things such as real carpetted floors, carpetted boot, seat belts with chrome buckles, moving front seats, folding centre arm rest in the rear seat, it even has a spare in the boot for christ sake! And the detail in the engine bay is amazing, they have even put the fan belt stickers under the bonnet where you cant see near the latch, and also the stickers inside the driver and passenger doors on the inside bit. Also and finally, it comes with a certificate of authenticity and individually numbered! Well worth the money anyways, I think there is a problem with getting hold of the typhoon as the release date (even though last month) was later than expected for some reason! So am still anxiously waiting..... If you want pics of the quality of the GTP PM me let me know~ Cheers!

Hey nang3, That may work for most, but in my situation, I have a dealer extended 5 yr warrenty, in which the dealer must service my vehicle (at least) once a year. If I choose not to service it there, I will only have three yrs, and if I APS kit it... I hear you had a go with an STI too, I did here in Adelaide also, the bas*ard had me by 2-3 car lengths up to 80. Mild wheel spin... He had none! Not even a little squeal! I wanted to keep going but he backed off early.. I reackon I need that phase kit now.. Cheers!

How does the T compare to the crewie? If I was in Qld I would take you up on that offer..

I got drilled by an STI in the Phoon too, but it was only up to 80.. (just out of 2nd)..

Them new 6L are pretty mean I have heard, that's why I ask every damn person who has driven one to compare them to the fords (To which fords as far as performance is concerned get their but whipped) and the Phoons -Which you said was marginally faster, Was it just a 6.0L SS or the Clubbie?!

Should smoke him! Your car has all of its torque (450nm I think off memory) from just 2000rpm. He has to wait till around over 4000rpm for just slightly more. Just stall it up properly in auto or man whichever you have and he'll get a real shock! Good luck, let us know how you go!
