  1. Looks like a mini meet up of all the Fantasy owners. By the way, nice car. I am a little suprised to read you are running about 260 at the wheels with your mods. My babe had an attempted break in when she was less than 1000Ks on the clock. Cost the insurance company 2K to fix. Had to spray the whole side. A touch up just didnt cut it.
  2. FANTASY

    Parking

Long live the Fantasy. Yep, I too take long walks after parking the car. Its worth it. I have parked my car at a shopping centre 3 times in 12 months
  3. Something I do know..My BF Auto T pulled 210.?? in 3rd gear. It then pulled 216.? in 4th (as you would expect, different gearing) Sorry but 231.? in third gear in a stock standard T and then 210-214 in 4th....with a different cooler, did I read that correctly...no tune included or did I miss something?? Mine is stock
  4. Nah its the terminal velocity of his wad flying out the end of his crank
  5. You are going to hate me then. I now have 10k on the clock, trip to QLD, 4 or 5 trips to Syd, 1 trip to Melb. Rest of the time zipping around Canberra. Avg speed 70km, 10.5/100. I guess half my Ks have been on long trips but its still pretty good. I can still manage anything between 490-550 driving in Canberra. 490 is when I am keeping people honest.
  6. The BF in Auto make the task easy, especially up to the speed limit. that's when they get the sh*tes and go roaring past, but like I always say, anyone can speed..
  7. What a heap of crap.. CALTEX is the only fuel I will put in my ride in Canberra, so strike me off your mailing list...I dont want it.
  8. Ha spose ya dick grew a mm too. ROFLMAO
  9. Thanks everyone for your responses. My son thought it might be the O2 sensor and suggested that to the dealer but they only flashed it. Next time I will suggest it again. No fuel problems, only when the son drives it. LOL.
  10. G'day everyone. My baby is a BF T so she has the ZF box. My problem is when I put the car into reverse in the morning (this is the only time it has happened) she doesnt want to get going out of the garage (probably because its canberra and freezing at the moment...LOL). She stumbles and farts so I have to put her back into park wait about 10 seconds and away we go, no more problems. If I start her in the morning, wait 10-20 seconds she is ok, I can reverse her down the driveway and off to work. Have taken her back twice, the first time she was re-flashed (blocked her eyes). The second time nothing detected. Next time they are going to contact where she was born for advice. Has anyone else with a ZF auto had the same problem and what was the fix?
  11. Nothing but great words from me. Take a look at their webpage, the quality speaks for itself. Many other members of AFF have been very happy customers. In my previous XR6 I had ECU and airbox covers, air intake plate and CAI all colour coded. I didnt have any issues with paint matching. Adam and his team done a great job. Adam even fitted it all for me onsite. Have a look at the work Adam has done on his own ute, his people are craftsmen.
  12. She looks well looked after. Enjoy her.
  13. I would love to participate but unfortunately I am travelling back from Sydney that arvo. Oh well, next time.
  14. Your right about it coming out on other cars now. Some local w*nka went and got his 1990's Hyundai Excel sprayed fantasy. Hope it gets keyed. ← I wonder how much it cost him to get the Racing Excel done. I have heard its 1K a litre for the paint. Maybe I should seek him out and get whats left over for just in case. I owned a Citric Acid XR before this one and it was the same story (I luv that colour). I have seen a Swift, Datto, Monaro painted Citric.
