  1. its normal for a 0W-40 oil to sit on one notch. I use Mobil1 5W-50 and it sits on between the first and second fat notches. when I was using the mineral oil (10w40) it sat one notch higher again. If you want it to sit higher at idle then use a thicker oil.
  2. yeah it would have sunk earlier
  3. fifth gear is in its 9th season. how many gears did the car you were driving in 1997 have? Im sure like me, most of us were only lucky enough for a 5 speed cog swapper back then

  8. ive got over 10,000 songs on call in my car. gotta love that xbox
  9. if its not the wiring then its the "type of" inverter. Im happy to take a look at it for you if you want to drop by sometime, but I would bet loads of cash that if you used a pure sign wave inverter you would not be having this problem. slightly off topic, can anyone sit in your back seat with the xbox under the seat in front of them? and can you notice the fans in the xbox and inverter when the car is running? reason I ask is several guys have asked me about the under seat mounting but when I tried it all I did was scratch up the top of the xbox, hence it was never properly mounted there in my car
  10. use a pure signwave inverter and you wont have any problems (unless your wiring is dodgy).
  11. and it cost you ??????

  15. the thing that concerns me with your statement is that you are going back to them after f king in up in the first place
  16. hmmm, maybe http://www.wintonraceway.com.au/ I would say the best option would be to have a non passing track day to minimise the risk of panel damage if someone got a rush of blood to there head and stuck there car where you were turning in . we could have a limited amount of cars on the track to do timed laps for 20 minutes per group. How it would work would be if you catch the car in front of you you must slow down as you cant pass but after slowing down you should still get a quick lap in. After the rounds you keep dropping the slowest guys until there is a final (fast) group on the track shooting for the fastest lap title. Obvously you would try to group all the modded cars together from the start so there is not a massive diference in performance between the cars on the track. At the end of the day you could have a trophy for fastest lap modded car and stock car. what do you all think?

  23. where abouts did you have in mind? ← KFC Westgate Bridge has been used previously. ← sounds like a plan to me ← Western Suburb's Meet Point, 10.00am depature from the Westgate Shell Servo/KFC Melbourne bound. Takes a bit less than 1/2 an hour to get out there. ← I'll be there

  25. the designs for the box were thrown out before easter but I did take some external mesurements for you. The box is 285mm high x 800mm wide. its too hard for me to mesure how deep it goes but im sure its 420mm at the bottom and 370mm at the top. The internal volume is around 70L and the box is sealed. I have the subs firing to the rear and the sloped section of the box is facing the rear seat. There is also enough room to mount the amp on the box so that when you pull the seat back down there is something there to look at
