Having a bit of a think today on the car warrenty side of things & thought why not, let's help them out. See what you can come up with, here's a few of mine. If you blow a gear box it's caused by the replacement of them dodgy plastic screws all round the grill & inner gaurds. If your diff get noisey it's more then likely from the fake GT stripes(better known as Kloster Stripes) on the sides unless fitted by a ford dealer of course then it's the none standard tyres,you know the one's the have the split in the side walls. Some of the stories your local dealer can come up with leave these for dead, drop in today & have a chat. Muzza.

He's right Mickey rip it into the pricks! They had no problem taking your money for the extended warrany that they push at you. You have got nothing to loose. They think this high they are on with sales is going to last, no way. Let them know you are looking at replacing it in the next 12 months & there actions have made your desision alot easier. Hi Sam, Just about everyone who I know that has put the Walbro in has had this problem. Solution you need new submersable fuel line on it as once they are disturbed they will split. Muzza.

Your F6 was getting off the line real sweet.. I was the guy in the ute that only got a 13.5@108mph with a start & slipping clutch. But had fun for my first time on the track. Muzza.

You will need it retuned as everything changes once the Accuator is changed. My sugestion until you get it retuned get a manual boost controler(about $60) before it goes you will be able to get it where you want but will come on early. Muzza. ← Yeh but he said he had pulled the boost out with the flashtune, but it still went high ← I'm no expert as I'm still learning the software but there is a number of things controling the boost depending if it's in open or close loop. wastegate duty cycle,desired boost,integerial gain.etc. Mate try the manual boost controler first until you get the right settings at least you will be able to drive it & on the dyno you will get a sweat boost level without having too reflash your box after each change.. I'm in the process of getting mine sorted after putting a 8lb acuator on.I'm still in two mind if I'm putting the standard acuator back on. Good luck let us know your results. Muzza

It's not a 4wd dyno so all that can get on a single dyno are invited. Will send an invite to the FPV guys aswell. A few LS2's would be nice to see. Muzza.

I agree, this thread has brought out alot of the right people to get a informed debate on one of the most asked quetions. The improved plenum not just in the design gives the ability to remove the heat soak & restrictions in the plumbing which alone reduces boost drop from turbo to plenum. Simon what sort of boost drop do you get from turbo to a nizpro plenum compared to stock? At what engine boost? If we can keep the debate on track we will all benifit. Muzza.

I went for the Xtreme clutch & it's handling the 300rwkw so far so good. If it's been slipping expect to machineyour flywheel. If your planning on 300+ give mal wood a ring he does some good deals for guys on the forum. Pm me if you want the local supplier for xtreme, $450 for clutch $750 with new slave when I got mine. Hi, Anyone interested in a Dyno Day at RX Enineering in November? The date I'm looking at is the 12-11-2006. Around then shouldn't be too hot hopfully. Being on Sunday it would be good if a few wanted to get together for a cruise or even go out for a feed on the Saturday night. Whats your thoughts?:entlueft: Muzza.
