  1. Depends on what youre after. Most people are going for show only, while others will want improved handling aswell. Personally, I dont have any caster or camber kits at the moment. When money allows it ill set the car up with better handling. Its all great to go fast in a straight line, but I bought a manual to drive it! Cobrav8: Exactly mate
  2. hmm, I saw the link and thought.. Umm, ive seen that porno.. I clicked the link anyhow and realised its actually the racing movie..
  3. is that front or rear camber? cause I been quoted 180 for camber kits, not sure of the origin for front. Just supplied ← For either - supplied only of course. Its not hard to fit a camber kit. For 180 each set you are probably looking at Castor AND Camber kit. This was through Advantage Suspension (where I have bought all my suspension needs for current and previous cars)
  4. Whiteline do camber kits for the BA. $75 for a set of 2. I have no clue why they would charge you so much to put them in (if they are doing your springs at the same time)..
  5. Pics of this single guage holder?
  6. I thought there was a 15 litre reserve in the tank to allow for instances such as this..
  7. Looks bland.
  8. yes the GT kit does look horn ... although im a fan of the wing ← Wing or no wing, it looks bloody nice. Theres a black gt with no wing near my place and everytime I see it.. I wish I had bought a GT The typhoon kit looks rather plain looking. *edit* I see you posted at the same time and decided on the typhoon kit. So long as youre happy with the result who cares what everyone else thinks!
  9. gt front, rear and sides, xr8 bonnet and quad exhausts + remove the wing = sex

Miles??? Im not convinced. ← The interior of the SS I saw, was awsome DVD screen in dash, dvd screens in the head rests. Very euro styled inside with cream leather throughout.. Better bucket style seats. (havent sat in one though) It just looked real comfory in there.

Ive seen the VE SS in the flesh.. It is a bloody hot car.. The interior is miles ahead of the BA/BF.. As for HID. Not even the orion has HID's...
  12. Not particularly fond of the new FPV wheels, but well done on doing something you like! The next thing you need to do is paint your calipers and rotars.. They really look horrible. I did mine about 3 weeks ago. Black to keep it subtle.
  13. Personally I would wait until 15,000... Its easy to pass the blame onto an Edit even though its Fords sh*tty quality that is the problem. I had planned to get my Edit way back at 10,000km's.. Until my diff decided to start leaking on its own accord. It was fixed only to start leaking again, so they replaced it with a new unit. If I had got my edit and they knew about it, no warranty and a rather large dent in my wallet. I've now done 25,000km's and Im happy with how all the components are handling my driving style. I will be getting my edit in July.

I think you will find it is the case. For the very same reason you cant replace an airbagged steering wheel with a non airbag steering wheel.
  15. Its not your tyres that's in this case, its you learning how to drive a 300+rwkw car.. Granted you need more grip, but seriously.. You know what your car is capable of so why 'plant the foot' rather than giving it a good dose of the wow pedal while keeping traction..

Genuine recaro's are triple that price. In saying that, if you do want to get a decent bucket style seat you will be looking at 1200+ each (for decent seats that will last) You will also need to get someone to engineer some rails aswell as get the whole thing certified. Unless you want a defect/non compliance sticker sitting on your car.
  17. I reckon its worth it.. From looking at the pics. Its about modding your car and getting enjoyment out of it. Phoon, did you put a light coat of clear enamel over it? Highly recommended to avoid corrosion.. And spill the beens on what compounds you used. Im thinking about doing this myself now.
  18. I ran mine on 38 all round with a nice even wear across the tyre.
  19. 2 suprise guests 1 of the old men fishing at the wharf isnt an actor
  20. so many bogans with money on this forum.. Its a shame...
  21. Rice? As in of Japanese origin? Or rice as in, lots of paint and shiny stuff and no balls? Cause im sure there wouldnt be any of those in the movie. The movie itself is aimed at the younger generation, who actually want to buy hot imports and sports cars.. Im going to see it next week sometime, not for the plot, but for the cars.. As for the stang with the nissan engine, that is totally cool! Top effort on the custom job that was done to it!
  22. My bad, I just checked up on my receipts for my springs. I bought Lows front and SuperLows rear. I was meaning to say I will probably change out to SL fronts and SSL rears.. *oops*

she has a sore neck and back but wont go to the doctor.... shes a tough cookie. No serious injuries at all the car can get fixed but it still hurts ← Shes not a tough cookie. Shes stupid (sorry to be blunt) Get it checked out as she may find she has done some damage she doesnt know about. (if you are worried about spending $40 to get an OK from a doctor you can always forward the bill to the person who caused the accident) Especially if she starts getting alot of headaches over the next few months. As for the boss guy turning up. In most company cars it tells you in a little booklet to deny all accountability because this way they can do a settlement outside of insurance so their premiums dont go up and the driver doesnt get fined. I hope you guys reported the accident to the police. The driver should be fined for negligent driving.
  24. Heres my thoughts on it. I originally bought a set of King Springs SL fronts and SSL rears when I had my 17 inch MKII rims. It looked like this. After getting my 19 inch rims I have found the car has raised itself by about an inch.. It now looks like this. If you are planning to get rims down the track. Save yourself $250 and get the SSL fronts and SSSL rears I will most likely get the original springs reset to a lower rate and see how they go as ive heard they are little more soft and help with launching the car
