  1. Coz I'm not into golf, what's with the pitchfork bit on the back?
  2. But it's an FG mk 2 so if there is something wrong with the PCM, isn't it (wouldn't it be) covered under warranty to start with? I keep thinking of that poor guy that got reamed badly by them ----- forgotten now but wasn't it 9 or 19 grand or some farken
  3. Remind me again please......isn't it this place that has been known to rip people off blind in the past by saying that something is needed - but its not ????
  4. ^^ no probs mate.........10% of any winnings though coz that's the rule
  5. I'm getting as bad as Scotty with double posting (at least mine have different content.......lol) Willo Hope you don't mind me taking a post of yours in another thread to use here. I just found this pdf............not a bad read so I reckon it's time you hooked yours up so we can compare. http://www.thermoguard.com.au/FAQ.pdf It talks about diesel and petrol engines
  6. EGT has its own sensor and comes with a nut (mild steel - I think) to weld to dump. As I said in another thread, I got an EGT gauge coz a couple of mates have 4wd's and they use them on their turbo'd trucks and said that it is very handy and when I finally work out why, I'll let you know.
  7. I agree totally gunna and that's why I decided on the speedhut set. Warning light can be set for low and / or high and you can even adjust the brightness of it. Example is my oil pressure gauge - low warning set to 10psi ( therefore the light is on for the first half a second of cold start up ) and high is set for 75psi ( to remind me not to kick it too hard until the engine warms up ). I have high warning only set for boost and EGT. I hardly ever look at the gauges now coz the novelty of owning them has warn off but you better believe I do if one of the gauges warning lights come on
  8. From http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2756702/Free-Nipple-campaign-hits-catwalk-Sheer-emerges-season-s-hottest-trend-London-Fashion-Week-models-bare-breasts-runway.html Twice now Dags has been very subtle and has now set the precedent so I say: As long as your pics are as subtle as Dags's................
  9. Changed my oil a cupla weeks ago. Had Castrol Edge 10/60 (I think it was) in it but I couldn't get any in town - both suppliers were out of stock - so I put Nulon 10/40 back in it and I now have a top end rattle.. Have no idea what is actually making the noise and only lasts about 2 minutes and then shuts up but I will be keeping an eye on it.
  10. I love my Speedhut ( TEA ) gauges but the little LED thingy in the pointer could be a bit brighter. Unable to dim them with dash lights but IMHO ya don't need too plus the g6e turbo logo on them gives a bit of a custom made feeling to them

    In The Club

I remember someone else mentioning this Bomber .. can't remember who though. Any idea why or even how the solenoid likes it better?
  17. How many have let go at a uni compared to how many twist the shaft apart. Go and grab an empty toilet roll and tear it - following the join - and that is sort of what a shaft can end up looking like when it twists. Half shafts would let go before a uni ..... wouldn't they?
  18. and get it re-balanced. That place (whoever it was) did a good job on mine. In fact, it's about the only farken thing on my car that doesn't vibrate
  19. Back when I ran a ( little....hehe ) pub here in Radelaide, family always came first on xmas day. I would make sure that staff with kids - under 10 - didn't work the 2 hours pubs are allowed to be open in the morning and under 16 (but only if possible) didn't work in the night club on xmas night. Only ever paid them the normal amount but 'free drinks till ya fell over' once we closed and "staff drinks" were on. One year, that added up to 7 & a half grand..................should of seen me trying to explain that to my boss. Edit. None of that really pmo but it's gunna be 40 tomorrow and that does
  20. Hope ya not talking about the 'funny' lad Rab
