  1. Thanks heaps Arron. Mines is the same as yours. Keith, if you look carefully at captain's cluster, the numbers are a different font and it also highlights where the redline is. Seems like XtRmn8 is on the money. I also thought it was an F6x cluster
  2. What clusters are in both your F6's Arron?
  3. My 06 bf1 has the same cluster as this. Looks like ford just picked out clusters willy nilly
  4. That's interesting. My Bf f6 cluster is different and I'm almost certain my mates Ba f6 is the same as mine. Maybe it's a gt thing. I'm sure someone here will know the answer
  5. Hey mate. I'm curious to know what model fpv you got your cluster from? Never seen one like that before. I'm having at guess its from an F6X perhaps?
  6. The 6466 is a mean turbo but its overkill for what in after. The spool time of the 6235 is what's got me hooked otherwise the gtx would be an obvious choice. If there was e85 close to home then I probably would get the baby gtx, but I really want to crack the 400's on 98.
  7. That doesn't sound too promising. Which brand are they a copy of?
  8. So you don't think there would be any issues reliability wise with the precision compared to the gtx mick?
  9. So the Precision 6235 has been out for a while now and there seems to be a few people using them, so has anyone has any issues with them? I'm pretty much set on getting one because I love the response and headroom that it offers however I am always hearing people say that they are 'unreliable' with their ceramic bearings and they are unproven etc etc. Should I be wary of buying one? If anyone can fill me in on any issues that they have had then that would be awesome. Cheers
  10. I'm not even old and I had to google 'IRL'. Came up with 'India Resources Limited'. Thought this was a car forum... Haha
  11. The first generation Nizpro intercoolers were tube and fin. I know this because I had one. I rang them up around them up around this time last year and they now use bar and plate cores. They have the same core for both the standard and 'big big' cooler, just different size outlets. Perhaps the car you saw had an early generation intercooler on it
  12. The thread title will soon be referring to your odometer Steve!
  13. Scarlett Johansson's rack is a solid 10/10
  14. The FG F6's aren't a 'typhoon' motor either. The typhoon name was dropped when the FG series was released. I'm not having a dig either, just thought I'd let you know for future reference. Good luck with the build and be sure to post plenty of photos when the ball gets rolling
  15. Can I work for you mate?! My boss considers a 90kw mitsubishi triton to be a 'work car'. It ain't no fun when I'm driving to subway for smoko
  16. Sorry mate I didn't take a photo of the local lady. The 'Eskimo lady' from the Simpsons movie is a very close representation though. I don't think she was a hooker but I'm sure she wouldn't say no for a few rupees. Flights to Nepal aren't too dear if you like what you see.... Haha
  17. Roads in Nepal piss me off. Nine and a half hours to travel 112km with no traffic is a bit slow for my liking. What really pissed me off though was my seat soaked in vomit and the local lady sleeping on my lap. Oh well...the views made it well worth the pain!
  18. With the genuine fpv wheels on my BF typhoon the rear wheels are different to the fronts. The rear wheels 'stick out' more and therefore don't fit on the front. The fronts fit fine on the back but don't fill in guards as much. Obviously the spare is a 'front' wheel variety. Mine are the ba/bf series1 18 inch wheels. Not sure what other model fpv wheels this applies to though.
  19. There's quite a difference between a $400 intake and a $350k house... Haha Just keep your current airbox or put an F6 lower snorkel on it and put your savings towards an exhaust system. The power difference between an F6 airbox and a growler on an n/a falcon will be seven tenths of f*ck all
  20. Maybe have a look through ebay for a second hand surge tank. I picked up my process west surge tank for $400 with a Bosch 044 attached. I'm going to buy a new 044 though for piece of mind
  21. Haha yeah I was just being a smart arse. I can't see how either of you wouldn't be stoked with the deal. Both are delicious cars!
  22. I reckon that would already be the case let alone in five years. I hope the use of lube was included in the swap!
  23. Farking tapatalk double post. Sorry mods!
  24. I just flew from the perhentian islands in Malaysia to attend a good mates wedding in Brisbane. Spent about $600 on flights and $400 on a suit because I was a groomsman. Plus accomodation for three days and car hire. Still put $100 in the envelope.
