  1. Yep I agree to be fair on the comparison be run back to back etc etc. Reading the comments over time, I cant recall any temp pre/post cooler data being posted. Plenty of dyno charts, pressures, A/F ratios, torque, but no graphed intake - cooler outlet air temps. Or fan generated wind speed, certainly effects cooling. Or exhaust gas temps with better cooler, does it cool gas temps or make it hotter? So many questions.................

  4. Talked to Rob at Monsta Torque, mentioned a flash tune you can flash that will immobilise it 100%. Beats any switch's IMHO.

  9. Bov is stock, all seems ok. Rob would no doubt have found out during load on the Dyno if bov was weak. It really is a pleasure to drive, very useable power.
  10. My ute already had a Venom Cat + Growler airbox + Stepped Cooler installed. Bottom line is all that with ID1000's installed with scaling, fuel/timing maps are stock. 2nd line is tuned. Looks to me that the stock cat (euro 4) is a really big bottle neck. The way Rob delivered the boost down low then taper off really gives great acceleration. ZF complements it all, trans temp sits around 80deg C.

  12. Very nice indeed!!! Flat constant pressure/Torque curve!!! Might be using Monsta Torque to tune my FG as well. Sounds like good honest service from Rob n Darren, way to go!!!

  15. Huge exhaust!!! Look forward to seeing the results, will be a handful.
  16. Finally have it in place running with no leaks. Steel ZF SUMP off, alot of sludge. Old ZF Fluid, pretty sure it supposed to be clear!! New Plastic ZF Sump, with a very convenient rubber seal + sump drain plug. Alfa Laval DOC14 Oil Cooler New Sump on. Gulf Western Syntrans - $160 for 20L, plenty of fluid to drain/flush the trans with left over for next time. Bit of a challenge but in place. No hoses rubbing or are protected by insertion rubber wrapping. Ready to goto XFT for a tune.

  21. With a good spray system in place, would mean you could use a $300 intercooler but get same Effeciency as a more expensive intercooler, right?

  24. My fronts wear on the inside. You can get camber kits to allow greater shim placement to resolve camber issues.
