Why does the blow off valve open up not under load but the gauge doesn't register?

All sorted had to actually drive it for it to register boost. Weird. Don't see why it wouldn't register when revving in neutral.

yes id like to know. hooked up a calibre boost gauge and reads about -20 on idle and only boosts to 0 and no more? really frustrating me. the t piece is hooked in just before the blow off valve, on the BOV vac line... cheers

its an auto, got the hang of it this morning second is easier to avoid the limiter, just yeh cant let it bog down. second on the brake then grab 3rd and let off and wow! my tyres are gone... haha. powerskids are awesome.

yeh it could do 3rd but as soon as I let off a bit to avoid limiter it bogged down real bad.

Gave this a go on a deserted road this arvo. Kinda getting the hang of it, it didn't seem to like me pumping the throttle on and off to avoid the limiter though...

mine also does this sometimes, only when TC is off have taken it to a transmission place and they said all is good :/

kinda off topic... what mode are people using in an auto when doing skids? im assuming manual mode so you can hold a gear...

Yeah I've got a k&n panel filter in stock box with a few 100mm holes drilled underneath and infront

so the whistler pro 78 is a good choice on a budget? any others to consider in the same price range? they are about 150 on ebay from america...still all good for australia?

car was in gearbox shop for a check and to get diff serviced etc. still flashes performace mode sometimes when TC is off but all codes were checked aswell.

bringing up old thread... have wondered about the shutdown noise for a while. my fg makes a similar noise but not so loud. atm I am replacing the stock inlet muffler cone with a rapid systems pipe and if I move the nut on the front of the turbo up and down there is some movement, this normal? and also I can hear noise if I spin it fast with my hand, normal aswell? cheers.
