1. 110% agree. I've got a wife and 2 young children. My wife works in the evenings after I get home so we don't have to put them into day care therefore we're raising our own children (what a novel idea). However this doesn't allow me to train after work so I go on my hour lunch break. I manage to squeeze in my main lift and 4 sets of assistance, get changed and get back to work, cram some lunch in and finish my day. People at work think I'm crazy for lifting at lunch. I just smile and nod as I watch them get fatter and weaker. I've lost 20kg and the percentages on ALL my lifts are higher than they've ever been. If you want it, you'll find a way.
2. I'm going to knock off the IF and try and lose the last 10kg or so tracking my calories and using IIFIYM. That will get me ready to maintain when I hit target weight. Not being such a massive calorie deficit will allow me to lift heavier sh*t as well. Managed a top set of 10 reps at 100kg bench which calcs to 130kg single. I was doing 130kg 1rm when I was 139kh. Bit of a difference!
3. Diets pretty restricted due to the gluten and lactose intolerance. I eat what I can, but generally I'm in a pretty large calorie deficit each day. Try to intake enough calories to avoid a catabolic state. Was doing a 24hr fast once a week, generally Monday, then 18/6 the rest of the week days, would have breaky on the weekend.
4. Haha, nowhere near as much fun as it sounds after months of the brown rain. I can eat as much steak as I want though so I'm cool with it.
5. Yeah Henz. Found out I'm Gluten and Lactose intolerant which has helped as well.
6. Officially hit 20kg for my weight loss today. 5/10kg to go yet
7. Focus
8. Agreed on all counts. I can't remember the last time I did a bicep curl and the guns are bigger than ever. All from deads, bench, rows as Goliath said.
9. Tested my 1RM for deads today at lunch. Managed a single at 500lb, while fasted and a touch hung over. Have just cracked the 40lb mark for weight loss as well.
10. Wouldn't that tear the fork out of your nightie!
11. That's right Goliath. Got my new Do-Win powerlifting shoes today. Should be able to nail squats now. Managed 4 reps @ 200kg deadlift today as top set. Pretty stoked!
12. Mines a little bit wider than shoulder width with toes pointed out slightly. I track my knees over my toes which allows a deeper squat. Deep enough to blow the ass out of a pair of shorts during squats at lunch today.

Works for me anyway.
13. Ta mate. I'm aiming for 110kg. Should be an ok weight at 6'3".
14. 122 at the moment, down from 139. Bench has always been my weakest lift. Deads and squats are my strength.
15. Nice work Henz. Looks like I'm going to have to reset my bench press. Only got 2 of the required 3 reps at 120kg today. Have lost nearly 20kg now so probably can't expect to bench the same as before given that I'm in such a big calorie deficit each day.
16. You nailed it mate, the squishy bottom of the runners absorb the force of your lift a lot too. I think I did round a little but by that lift I'd done 5x70, 5x120, 5x160, 3x180, 2x200, 1x220, 1x240, 1x250, 1x260 and then this at 272.5 I've read a lot of articles that rounding of the upper back isn't so bad as rounding of the lower but I try to keep good form as much as possible.
17. No shoes. Haven't got around to getting lifting shoes. Have got trainers but take them off for the heavy stuff. And got a whole in my socks.
18. Was messing around with trap bar deads and managed to crack a 600lb single. I've done 260kg before but I weighed 5kg more then. So this is a pretty big PB.
19. Lost 16kg so far using Intermitent fasting
20. My brother just did the Sydney Tough Mudder. Said it was ridiculously hard. Took his team 4 hours to finish.
21. I'm using intermittent fasting to lose weight. 1 or 2 24hr fasts with a large meal (dinner) at the end or an 18 hour fast with a workout followed by lunch and then dinner. Usually only have breakfast 2-3 times a week. Works a treat, doesn't cost anything and you can eat what you'd normally eat for those meals. Win win
22. Have lost a total of 15kgs now. 10 reps at 125kg for squats today which calcs to a 167kg single. The most I've lifted since the knee injury. A pretty good Friday workout.
23. 125.0kg this morning! It's still coming off. Managed 3 reps at 200kg deadlift today which I was pretty damn happy about!
