Took my citric acid in to get the door repaired, which had been reprayed by the previous owner (Which didn't match). The guys I've taken it to can't match the paint!!!! They did the job yesterday & it still looks bloody obvious!! My gripe for today, they'll have another go next week!! Russ

have you guys seen the the one where they tried to destroy a diesel Hilux?? That's bloody awesome. They dropped a caravan on it, left it in the ocean, put it on top of a building being demolished, burnt out the tray/cab. Is that $650 with the customers injectors exchanged???? IE the customer has to give you their injectors in exchange for the new set plus $650. Or do they get to keep their old injectors?? Russ

I'd go a new pump & new injectors. Are they asking for your injectors as exchange??? You could either sell them or keep them for when you sell the car! Russ

What have they quoted you??? You can Walbro pumps on ebay for $125-$200 Russ

You either have to change connectors in the loom or get adapters to suit. He supplies the connectors with the injectors & I did supply a few people the adapters who wanted a simple plug & go answer! Russ

Eugene's Injectors here have a look! these are the injectors to get, or the Bosch 968. just remember, you're the customer. Tell them what you want!!! As for CAI, you can pick up the typhoon one as a spare part from ford Cheers Russ

Nah half that!!!! around $1500 for injectors, cai, Walbro pump & tune. I wouldn't buy drilled out injectors, we're not talking old carby jets.. Get the proper injectors, quad orifice with a split spray pattern Russ

No, no, no!!!! New injectors & new fuel pump, not this modified crap, Eugene or Bosch 968 as JB suggested & a bigger fuel pump. Buy new & feel no pain & have a totally reversible scenario. Russ

There was no duty of care!!! What idiots have spectators behind a mesh wire fence??? There wasn't even a double fence to create a no go barrier between the track & spectators. How about concrete barrieres or water filled barriers all the way around?? Motorsport is dangerous, but in this case the organisers have made it real dangerous. I hope they get hauled through the ringers! They're lucky no one was seriously injured or killed. There is no way CAPA are to blame for this one! Russ

I think they have given you the V8 filter. Ryco This shows the filters for Ford BA motors! Russ

Aren't they just a Ryco Z9 oil filter???? I know Ford go on about silicon valve etc etc. but a Z9 should get you out of trouble for around $7 I'm pretty sure they're a different filter than the V8's use (Z516) Russ
