  1. To answer you other question Wayno, reckon you will get a good price ($1000+) for your argents as they seem very popular on the used market. Certainly not a problem in selling them..... (FPV owners want them off, T owners want them on - work that one out!!)
  2. Dont worry about Warner or Gayle, they were slow 100s....(kidding) Viv and Gilly hold one and two, reckon Vivs might stay for a fair while longer too!
  3. Accountants sometimes deal with raw figures/percentages, not necessarily $$ reality. T So a bigger hit in % compared to new? Absolutely not as Mercs are very good compared to ford/FPV.......but in real terms yes I absolutely agree with you TurboT as OP already had a car that already finished a huge chunk of its depreciation. A bad decision financially all things considered (buying new (if that's the case) always will be), but if OP wants the Merc instead of the FPV for quality/image/warranty etc then the $$ loss over the FPV are largely irrelevant.
  4. India always rubbish anywhere other than the dust bowls they play in....... Think its important we dont get too excited - we drew with NZ (pathetic display) and SA, and upcoming England at the hole they live in is 10 times harder challenge than this. Fingers crossed Pattinson, Cummins, Warner etc continue to imprive and beat the poms!!!
  5. LOL. Agree - but there theres a few very sensitive types on here (mods generally) about their FG/G6s etc so watch out.......ha ha.
  6. +1. Get what you pay for in life (generally speaking). Second quote looks much better than no 1. ps: Some times self-help/effort can assist when making a decision - clearly K&N is overs for example.....
  7. Just buy a FGT for similar $$ and put twists (or whatever) on that! Superior vehicle to a Phoon, but styling/"rareness" might be the clincher for the BF.......
  8. Yep, that's what a good one makes....... Stock BA/BF T is about 200-210 and Typhoon 220-230.
  9. Agree. And one is called MK1, one is called MK2. Another huge difference. ps: Since when did a "stock" BF Typhoon make 260rwkw? One very happy dyno!
  10. Yep, good points. I think the later WRXs were a fair bit better than 98-00 series so makes sense........ Agree. I am a little biased as I simply dont corner hard with family in car (90% of the time), but straight line/easy corners I still drive the car as it was made safely - hence I put more priority on that than twisty stuff so I guess it depends on where the car will be used as to which is "best" (if there is such a thing....ha ha).
  11. Your kidding! Ive had both at the same time (1999 WRX (partners car) and my R33 GTR) and their was no comparison - GTR a superior car in every way..............maybe the later Rexes closed the gap though, not sure.
  12. 100% agree. I know its impossible (and not cost effective etc), but if they could get the weight off the Ts (and other FPVs) down 3 or 400kgs to around 1400/1500kgs it would improve so much again. Handling, acceleration, economy.......oh well, they are still brilliant versatile vehicles even if badly in need of weight-watchers!
  13. Did you deliberately make that impossible to read mate! ha ha. Mostly agree though bar a couple of things. Agree. And car colour/alloys. I wouldnt knock Supras and 300zxs.........mght be getting old but they are still very fast cars. Some jap tuned Supra are mad. More than a match for a T.
  14. Yes, you are right. No wonder he wants to do burnouts all the time, I would if I were him.....lol

Ha ha, good chance actually! The mighty Roos will be bottom half of 8 this year, but watch out in 3-4!! Very good young list even though no one rates us......
  16. Entirely agree. And......yep, entirely agree. lol (how orange is the drivers hair also....surely fake or just very unfortunate? No offence intended!!)

Kangaroos membership gear arrived yesterday - T now adorned with a fresh couple of stickers. Being a Hobart boy a special year with two local games for the first time ever! Footy mad down here, should have happened earlier if it wasnt for state government bias and margin seats (premier at the time) making (hole) Launnie the AFL capital.......... GWS will be rubbish (but ill sink beers enjoying an easy win at least!!), but WC should be a close and good game with a few stars to watch.
  18. +1. Clearly an over-reaction by quad bike superhero........ .......but then dealing with these bogans (hence their behaviour after) all day must test the stamina to think rationally. If he was told not to do a burn out (with people close by) then dont do it - its not rocket science and would not lead to similar incidents.
  19. Oh, come on....ha ha. Surely the Gemini (lol) being surrounded by officials, including in front, would have suggested him not to drive forward? And that something was wrong with him entering.......or is that asking too much? The meathead that got out of it at the end gives the game away surely.......
  20. It is a R34 (25)GT-T. Close enough to what Crash said!
  21. Lol. Id put the Subaru Vortex in a similar category....... Anyway, completely agree about the R34 v FGT comment.
  22. Agree. The aftermarket 3 inch in/out will be fine, just depend on which workshop how much they charge.
  23. LOL. Agree.
  24. I dont see a problem at all with private property damage or assault in this instance. Its a Gemini after all....... In all seriousness, what a debacle - the pure definition of unprofessional management mixed with lack of respect for authority, doesnt help the image of events like this whatsoever.
  25. 100% Agree. Huge straight line power is one thing, making it handle and brake equally well is often overlooked/skimped on - so put some good $$ towards that, and take off the things the guys have already identified. IMO!
