ordered a beetle radiator and automatic clutch cable but both out of stock due to commonwhore drivers buying them all up ! greedy bastids !

I'd definitely have a drive in both ! the new FG interior and exterior makes the bf look like an old taxi (more so the interior)! ...I'd go the newer car and add some go faster bits later on !

I hear what yer saying but there's a reason its not common, it looks sh*t ! I'd keep well away from any stick on items.. cos unless you are sh*thot at modding, its gonna look like it was done by a special needs art class !

my evo4 was so easy to hammer round corners ! the anti yaw would occassionally squawk but never any drama ! I wouldnt dream of throwing an xr6t into a bend the way I threw the evo around ! 500kg heavier and 2ft longer ! totally different drive ! the xr6t handles nice but certainly no evo in the handling stakes.. we bought this as a daily driver so I don't see the drama there.. got 8.8l on the highway last night over a 150k journey and 12's about town... gratuitous pic ! :D

seen a wine/dark red coloured BA turbo on nicklin way last week about 3hrs after we picked our car up ! think it had assault as the plates or ASS4LT I think it was ? fully loaded with blokes..ours fully loaded with Kids :D..

think your gonna waste the frotn of your car by tacking on those supercheap lights...if you want day lights, fit some angel eyes... I am a firm believer, if your gonna do it, do it right, no tacky half arsed sh*t !

I dont mind paying that but I wanna see if its decent ! custom fitted is fine if its good ! but from what ive seen, there's varying views on whats good quality if ya know what I mean ! also, do they have them for the FG off the shelf ? I may just buy a dump pipe and leave the centre pipe alone if I can't find decent quality off the shelf !

I went in to the exhaust shop the other day to check them out to get mine done... they had a commy wagon up on the ramps and had a 3" pipe fitting and painted black, still had way too much movement but "she'll be right" was the order of the day !.. welding looked like chewing gum and they were yanking it down to stop it rattling.... my new car wont be going in there anytime soon... I would love to buy one off the shelf so I can fit it myself.... I have always been very particular who worked on my car and the quality they supply !. I just do not like the sh*t I saw the other day.... I want a nice tig'd stainless pipe so it looks schmick too ! not some butchered piece of sh*t(PAINTED IN MATT BLACK ) that looks like its been welded in mild steel by a 6yr old blind kid ! dont mind paying a bit more but no point in putting a 90 dollar piece of crap on a 45k car !

these highway cars will get flogged to within an inch of their life on a daily basis ! but like everything eise, depends on price ! I certainly wouldnt be paying 28k for any of them !

the thing is, "the Stig" is part of the top gear branding, he is merely the guy in a suit ! he has obviously gotten too big for his boots and wants a bigger slice of the fame and tv royalties pie ! I can see both sides but if you sign up for something, tough sh*t!

my mate(aussie) has never owned a manual..says they're crap....this is what I expect from a car culture born and raised on auto's....if you know how to drive a manual (properly) there's no good reason for getting flogged by an auto...unless you miss a gear !

passenger side is a bit of a no user as it is really.. needs relocated like yo usay or just lifted out the holder and tacked somewhere with a decent LED ! I had one LED left and it was stuffed so need new ones, whats the best voltage to get a decent throw of light ?

just found this ! went and checked mine ! all specced up and no floor light bulbs ? put blue ones in and looks nice ! passenger side is a little obscured where it is but still works... to the bloke that found this put on the FG !

any7 more info and pics of yours mate ? it seems that's what I am after ! sleeper when crusing and idling and when booted, sounds like an earthquake ! ...just need to keep the wifey happy for driving to work ! dont think the guy with the 317 was happy today getting flogged by a woman !

regardless of free or warranty ! its a pretty sh*tty state of affairs for a year old car to have rust in it !

had a look in the centre muffler thread and most posts are about a twin pipe setup ! I had a look last night and the new FG centre pipe/muffler is massive and a lot longer than I had thought and must be 4 inch ! and it splits t0 2 pipes over the axle and back into 1 again...thing is, I cant see 160 bucks being right for straight through replacement for this and something tells me its gonna be stupid loud ! I want a nice note from the pipe but certainly dont want an earth shuddering tractor sound as its the only muffler on the car apart from the tail muffler ! so I am asking this, anyone done it ? what results and cost as it seems the other muffler thread is moostly BA/BF cars which I assume are totally different underneath ! any other info appreciated...

not good at all since my 16yr old EF wagon is near rust free ! hope my FG doesnt develop this sh*t cos I wont be happy !
