hey guys, Does anyone know how to replace the gear selector light in a BA and what watt globe etc. The car booklet says see a service technican to repair it.

Before the trip today I had a average of 12.2 with a average speed of 58kmh

BA MKII (First decent run since I bought it in December)just did a run from Penrith to Bathurst and back. Went via Bells Line Rd on the way up and came back down the Great Western Hwy. Averaged 9.2 over the whole trip. Wasnt overly easy on the throttle plenty of overtaking. Im pretty happy with that it matches the car it replaced a 2006 380 VRX. Used just on half a tank and 340kms.

I dont mind spending the money if it is worth it but if there will be no advantage at that power output, I would prefer to use the $700 odd dollars for other things.....

Hi Guys, Will be getting a tune in the coming months I will be limiting the power to the 270-280 mark. Is it going overboard getting the Rapid replacement Intercooler which is around a grand to buy or is a FPV intercooler okay? What will the rapid one do better at that output? Thanks in advance....

Yeah had mine done 2 weeks ago, went in to have the seal replaced and they replaced the glass, they didnt tell me. When I contacted Webasto about the recall I gave them the serial number of the roof they told me it was done. It took about 45 mins.

Hi Guys, Had the car up getting tires fitted and the guy advised me that there seems to be a small tranny leak ( 4 speed). Looking from beneath facing the front of the car it was all moist around a circular extrusion on the right side of the box. Could it be a shift solenoid???

Thanks for the info . Checked all discs this morning and passenger rear has gouge out of it like a stone got stuck under the the pad. The sound seems like its coming from the front drivers or drivers rear due to it being so loud.

What ever that brake squeel was went as fast as it appeared. Today I noticed a high pitched squeal when taking off and it gets faster as the car gets faster and stops at about 20kays but you can then hear like a scraping/scratching sound and then when slowing down it does the same thing at 20 kays a high pitched squeal develops. Sounds like a high spot rubbing or something. Doesnt do it cold only when been driving for a while. Any Ideas?????

Hi Guys, Just had 2 new rear tyres fitted to my BAMKII. Upon leaving the tyre shop and nearly home I noticed the rear brakes have developed a really high pitched squeal on really light brake applications. I know the pads and discs are fine as it has just got back from a full tunehouse service and all was sweet. Any ideas???

Got mine back from Tunehouse today, what a difference after a full service, it was good before. Good ones are out there just be patient.

Hey mate, You just have to be patient I looked for 5 months and wanted a bf and a budget of 23k and a few things changed and the budget went to 19k and I ended up findind a 05 BA one owner with sunroof, premium sound 70000kms full service history, immaculate for 18k. If you are buying from a yard go to a large dealer the cars they have are usually trades that they keep because they are good. Got mine checked out yesterday from a sponsor and very happy with the report, mechanically near perfect. A few tiny thing that they will fix under the 3 month warranty.

I find mine when parked outside and turned off you dont hear it but in the garage it sounds so loud due to the bare concrete and brick walls it magnifies the sound incredibly...

Already put a PWR cooler on. Replaced the turbo filter screen and serviced the tranny and diff. I bought it from a big ford dealer and they serviced it just before I picked it up last Wednesday.

The valve springs are fine at the momment but I know they are bad in the BAs. Im only wanting 250 rwkws as my wife will be using it.
