Wsid - Sydney & Canberra
Well weve already got 6 names and its early days so, technically, we have a lane, but we need a few more as SALEEN and BUF-PHOON are better known for keyboard racing so odds on they'll come up with a lame excuse to pull out the day before Thanks for helping out with booking the lane Jim.

Wsid - Sydney & Canberra
Hi guys. During the leadup of the 17th May event at WSID a few keen members couldnt make it and cited the 31st of May as being the next date for a get together. As its less than a week away, I thought Id start a thread and get some support. Hopefully we can get our own lane like last time if there's decent interest. So how about it - Im in Mods - please move to events\nsw forum as I couldnt start thread there.

Where Can I Get A Bmc Air Filter From In Sydney?
Just rang Parramatta Exhausts and they want $177. None of the Autobarns within cooee of my place have any instock so waiting for a 20% off special isnt gonna help as it'll be a special order. It looks like the victorians have it a bit easier than us when it comes to bmc's. Any mexicans care to help?

Actuator
Hi SAMSXR6T. Youre looking at $160 - $180 for the actuator. The big cost is the labour to remove and re-install the turbo which needs to be done to install the thing. This is around the $350 mark. Contact C & V Performance at Taren Point in Sydney where I had mine done. Regards, Max

How Do You Stop Tramping?
Killed my 1st driver side inner CV the other day. The car started tramping so I thought Id keep my foot down and ride it out instead of backing off. Was I wrong. On the 4th tramp the CV exploded. As I dont want to destroy anymore CVs, I thought Id eliminate tramp. But I dont know if this is at all possible. So who has modded their suspension and how to eliminate tramping? Regards, Arthur

Big Vic Weekend Mk Ii
Is'nt Calder enough for you? How many times do you want me to kick your butt in one weekend ← Didnt know you were a comedian Jeffro. Lets just see who kicks who's butt when I get a new CV. Youre supposed to work us up just before drag night. Not 7 weeks before. Link and I reckon your GT will make a suitable pit crew car to carry our tools and spare CVs ← Lets hope I can run better than an 18 this time If I cant beat the Skunk he will be unbearable ← Make sure your car has had the recall for the clutch fix Jules so you dont have the same probs as last year. Your car might have slipped through the cracks for the clutch fix that affected all the first release F6's. Also try some drag strip style launches on private roads to see if you cant replicate what sidelined you last time. If all is sweet, then you will have no probs dusting that GT Regards, Arthur

What Upgraded Intercooler For The F6?
Could be wrong, but I think the wog cooler is the monza IC. Can anyone confirm that for us? dw....the monza cooler was designed by me and is available through me, purchasenet, repco, autobarn etc. ← ← Thanks for that feedback Nick. Ive got the F6 cooler which Im considering replacing with the wog cooler if its advantageous. "the wog cooler out performs the std plumbing almost 2fold" Is that for the F6 cooler or for the standard XR6 one? "no cooler can increase boost just decrease loss" How does the wogcooler compare to the F6 cooler in that respect? Who else has gone from the F6 to the wogcooler and can you share your personal thoughts on the performance improvements? Regards, Arthur

Big Vic Weekend Dyno Day
Adam, he can be behind me for the trip down. WAY BEHIND!

Wtf Going On
Hey XR_Jet. I share the same thoughts as you. Then again these cars do weigh 1760kg driverless so they take some power to get them going and then some driving to keep the tires from frying. Not all is lost as Ive managed to do a 12.9 at 113mph with 270rwkw in a 6speed. Regards, Arthur

Air Filter -k&n Or Bmc
When I was researching air filters, I found from all the info available that the BMC filter is slightly better than the K&N by at least 2rwkw and the most 4rwkw. Ive also seen a T with a standard filter on a dyno and then with a K&N gain 4rwkw. So youre looking at a 4rwkw gain over standard with a K&N and a 6rwkw gain over standard with a BMC. The product placement of the K&N is better than the BMC. Hence K&Ns are cheaper when competitively priced than BMCs. I got the K&N for $90. Whereas the cheapest I could find a BMC was $132 and that's knowing a mechanic from a chain auto service centre. Regards, Arthur
