  1. WTF is going on here guys, no posts on this thread for 11 hours. Oh that's right Ken is over picking up a couple of new boys or something isn't he - it is all clear now..
  2. I feel absolutely honoured after reading that article! Thanks TriShield. Trent.
  3. That was similar to my reaction, "Where do I sign" I thought it would be the case so I purposely avoided getting behind the wheel of a T until I was in a position to buy one - and the rest is history... Trent.
  4. Well that just proves that great minds think alike, I was only talking to a mate the other day about fitting this exact setup under my tray! What sort of dollars to get this installed Ian? (not forgetting the acid rush discount!!!) Trent.
  5. Hope you have a speedy recovery Cro and all that everyone else has said. As for the insurance - most of them go by date of first registration, but I'm sure you will cover all tracks in any case. And as BA_Turbs mentioned, it makes you thankfull that you drive a decent size car rather than a little hatchback that would have rolled a couple of times before finding the tree. Trent.

    Joke Of The Day

Need to relieve some agression - this will make you feel much better, try it on one of your colleagues. Trent.
  7. Members? It's been a long day and I may be losing the plot, but am I missing something?
  8. Anyone been to the Regatta Hotel (in Brissie), the piss trough is up against the same type of one way glass - but the difference being that it overlooks the restaurant. Stage fright - absolutely!!! Trent.
  9. Reminds me of this one.
  10. I'm sure you would be welcome in the flannie - but just sustitute the sandles for rubber thongs. Trent.
  11. Just posting this at Scotty's request: ALL CRUISE PARTICIPANTS MUST BE WEARING THEIR SANDLES (preferably with socks) AND HAVE THEIR FOG LIGHTS FIRMLY ON AT ALL TIMES
  12. Yeh, sounds like a fantastic idea. I'll bring the tent and a few sleeping bags - as it is sure to be dark before we get out again. Trent.
  13. What really hurts is this.. And I can say that I too learnt to drive on a farm and to be honest I am surprised that I am still alive. On the other hand I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, as even though we went absolutely stupid from time to time, it was either on private property or on remote country roads that would only see a car once or twice a day. At least we learnt pretty fast the boundaries of both our personal abilities and those of our cars. If I am ever silly enough to have rug rats of my own, this is where I will be teaching them to drive, on the parent’s property from age 12 onwards. Trent.
  14. Flashing headlights and a beeping horn usually helps as well!!! It's unfortunate that it has to get to this extreme but unfortunately it is often the only way to get through to people. Trent.
  15. Must be the time for it, got a call from my dealer today with the replacement diff and they want to get it in before the end of the financial year - so little turby goes under the knife tomorrow. Everything is crossed, not just the fingers, hopefully it will not be the first of many replacements. Trent.
  16. Sandals Anonymous???? My name is Trent, and I am a sandle-aholic.
  17. Same up her in Qld, but I can't recall ever witnessing or hearing about this being enforced. I think the criteria is very similar: >80km/h on multi lane & devided roads. Trent.
  18. For you Geea, I'd suggest a pair of "uggies" at least two sizes larger.... Any truth to the rumours that you were born in Auckland? How does that Col Ellliot song go again.... Don't #$%^ the billy goat before the back legs are in your gum boots I suppose it would work for the uggies and a little lambie. Trent.
  19. I've found the fabric mouse pads are crap with optical mice, the best ones IMO are the hard coated plastic ones (thanks Dell) which would probably be easier/cheaper to get printed in custom designs. Trent.
  20. Love your work Plonky, maybe when you get a spare moment you can come up here and teach a few of our local officers to do the same!!! Trent.
  21. The only thing that took me a while to become accustomed to after jumping out of the au was the smaller wheel and the varience in turning ratio - but I wouldn't say it was signifantly different to getting into another make/model vehicle. Trent.
  22. Ahh Yes, here they al come out of the woodwork! I can see Geea quivering in his SHOES! Welcome Brother Worpor! Nice Sandles! Add me to the list, go the sandles. I find the Nike ones the best - most likely because they are the only comfortable ones that I can find to fit. And JB, lay of Geea a bit hey, show some compassion for the ugg boot wearers amongst us! Trent.
  23. And the fact that you recognised him..... better put that flame suit on Glenn! Trent.

    BluePrint No More

Congrats Cragin on the new member of your family. As for the paint it sounds like typical dealer speak to me - just talk crap for the sake of putting a sentence together. Trent.
  25. The cloth seats don't wear very well with the pattern on them do they. You can notice in Glenn's pic at the front of the driver's seat. Oh well, guess I will not be grinning so much in 12 months time when the leather starts fading and cracking on mine! Trent.
