ah yes makes sense, I was reading that since I have nvidia already if I stick to nvidia stuff again makes it easier to swap the gpu over and update drivers.

I can imagine do I need to match which monitor I get with the gpu? this whole g-syc free sync thing confuses me

yer its going to a fair chunk of change for me otherwise its 3k or so for a decent pc I guess.

so rtx 3060Ti and a new gaming monitor would be a good setup to keep me going?

well puff if I go spend $700 on a card im getting close to needing a whole new pc anyways, so was hoping to find a gpu to get me through another year or so dunno yet. my current dinosaur specs are Z97X-gaming 3 mobo intel i5 - 4690k 3.50ghz (not overclocked yet) 8GB ram (1 stick) currently have nvidia gefore gtx960 GPU 550W gold power supply. I also need a gaming monitor my current one is screen tearing bad. so yer in 2 minds what to do I thought shop around for a quick fix gpu upgrade for now, funds are slim. atm I just play the new cod

well yer they will be budget gpus since the pc is a dinosaur otherwise he said these from AMD RX 6500 XT RX 6700 or XT RX 6600 or XT

ok the guys who built my pc said I could upgrade to any of the following gpu cards GTX 1050 Ti GTX 1650 GTX 1660 Ti or super they said maybe some RTX cards but probably pushing the budget any ideas how to compare which is best vs each other? or suggestions?
